Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I watch all of them mate. He's probably one of those players that I've seen multiple times but never impressed me enough to follow him or think that United should sign him.
It's just that you said you never heard of him until recently. That's a different story to the fact should we buy him or not. :)

It's a bizarre one. He was excellent in Belgium but absolutely out of his depth in a higher league like Portugal.

His scoring record in Belgium isn't really that impressive to be honest. Don't know much about him but he seems the bug physical type.

According to 'Mediaset Premium' which may have some truth to it.

For Croatia, it's not the Nerazzurri leaders to the advances of Mourinho, who wants the Croatian offering 30 million to 35 million. "For less than 50 million , Perisic does not move". And 'the Inter replication. The maturities of the Financial Fair Play (June 30), the need to raise the 30 million to fix the cards with the Uefa may also avoid the need to transfer the Croatian, who Spalletti believes (almost) essential for its Inter.
So Perisic could stay at Inter. And how to solve the dispute with UEFA?

Thats the only thing I could find in recent articles about United on Sport Mediaset.

or is it this outlet you're speaking of - http://www.premiumsporthd.it/mercato/

In which case I can't seem to find anything at all that mentions United.

I haven't seen the article myself yet.

Valencia, a failed winger with no end product
Lindelof, feck knows
Darmian, a shame to the United shirt

Hardly an advertisement for 'savvy recruitment'. It's better to buy top players every time when they are available.

Before someone brings up our defensive record, let's not forget the style of football we played, even against trash like Ajax, Anderlecht and Celta.

That's not a good post. At all. Comment on Darmian is ridiculous, and your framing of Valencia absurd, for a player who is currently the best RB in the league. Added to that you've skipped the bulk of the argument. Let's just quit while you're behind. Spare you any further punishment.

It was this one IIRC: http://www.premiumsporthd.it/mercat...r-united-45-milioni-piu-bonus-2017_7387.shtml. Article on May 27, that's the date when the mods bookmarked the meltdown in the Perisic thread.

Valencia is class but his end product is garbage, there's not exactly much competition in the league for that title. Darmian is Darmian, 3 or 4 good games at the tail of the season seems to have deleted peoples long term memories.

Why the hell is he not the primary target? This guy looks like he's going to be a superstar.

I'd never even heard of Perisic 3-4 months ago, which isn't something you'd expect of a £50 million 28 year old.

Absolutely. This guy is going to be huge, along with Dembele, Mbappe etc. I'm actually not against Perisic at a decent price, but this lad is going to be on another level.

Darmian can not be sold until properly replaced till rojo is also injured.

There's Mediaset and Mediaset Premium. From what I've been told the premium is very reputable. They were also first to report our interest in Perisic.

Oh right cheers
Hope this is true, never seen him play but looks incredibly skillful on youtube

Excellent was a stretch, to be fair. His last season he was pivotal for Gent winning the league. He definitely is a big lump with great stamina levels, so he might end up OK if Huddersfield want to play shit on a stick football to stay up.

The perfect RWB is out there and will almost surely move clubs this summer. Unfortunately, he plays for Spurs and they'd never sell him to us.

I'd love Dani Alves for a one season rental but he looks nailed on for City.

I can almost guarantee Azpi will play the right wing back role. I am starting to think Conte would prefer Azpi in the wide position. Azpilicueta definitely is more suited to wing back role. He can play absolutely anywhere you ask him to and do the job well, which makes him unique in that sense. I would have no issue seeing him moved to RWB.

Dumb move

Why Riola has consistently proven to be a brilliant agent. He gets players the best deals. The best clubs. Players like Ibra and Pogba, Mkhitaryan rave about him. I'd say it's a wise move.

Ban football italia. Tell posters to look for source material first. :)

People just can't help themselves when they see something United related, they seem to gleefully scamper in here with it without checking the source of the information.

Seems the best chance they have at survival but it will completely go against the decent enough football they played last season.

#Donnarumma #Raiola yesterday, today and tomorrow!![/QUOTE]

It's an old Italian flick with Sofia Loren in it. Him and Raiola are probably cuddling up for a matinee together.
