Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Surprised there were no actual bids for Aubameyang. I think he's easily the best striker out of those potentially available. Unless it's just paper talk and he isn't really for sale.

So Perez are saying they don't sell Morata, Ronaldo or James but are interested to buy Mbappe? I don't believe that. :)

edit: And most less i believe that he don't know anything about Ronaldo's situation. For me that is actually quite good sign. He would say straight Ronaldo is going nowhere if all this are bullshit. So there really is something going on. But of course it doesn't mean he's leaving for sure.

I've always liked this guy. As quick as Usain and he has some crazy dribbling skills. Questionable and products though but he is improving. He'll be the perfect Sterling replacement for Liverpool.

Very good manners : he is listening to us and leaving on a free.

What I don't understand is that, don't players who are mesmerised by them not know how they treat players, just look at James and countless others, including the Norwegian prodigy.

Madrid guarantees prestige, money, super star team mates and trophies. Very hard to resist for players.

Because the kid is simply not good enough for Madrid.

He was sent to Castilla and had it stipulated in his contract that he train with the first team instead.

Not Madrid's fault whatsoever.

The club is just as culpable as player/entourage for terms, terms by which they would never had gotten the player in first place

So liverpool are signing a guy who has played lesser games than perisic but has better nos than him and is 3 years younger for 40mn while we may have to pay 50mn for perisic.

Inter's bid for james was last summer, as for Morata, it likely became clear that our valuation was too high through the intermediaries, so no official bid from milan came in
Real rejected two bids this summer for James and Morata from the Milan clubs. I will agree both bids were low, or reportedly low. With Milan bowing out and Inter not returning for James until they sell Perisic. Isn't this United's second bid for Morata also. After having a 50M bid rejected and told he was valued nearer €90M. Current bid stands at around €65M.

To say that he has received no bids for any player is just lies.

You admit that the fees might have been incorrectly reported but assume that the stories about the bids were still undeniably true? As far as I know, no bids have been confirmed by any of the clubs supposedly involved.

Don't you think that if we were willing to pay 50m for him we would have already signed him? Plus this is a player who already flopped in the PL once

Alves is probably going to go the Bravo of way. Finding himself defensively vulnerable and leading to a lot of goals. Stones would give him a run for the money if so though

DId Milan said they have ended their interest in Morata? But you think they didn't test the water with a bid? Come on.

Perez is just posturing

There was bids they were rejected.

That's just your assumption, not a statement of fact. It doesn't need to get to the official bid stage for Milan to find out he's going to out of their price range. There may or may not have been bids, and I sure as hell am not putting it past Perez to be lying, but believing transfer stories in the media to be absolute facts is just absurd.

That is one good thing, woody has at last learnt atleast a bit about not overpaying for everything, even though he flopped here, he has had a phenomenal season better than perisic's by a distance.

not all players with the same stats are the exact same
Positionally yes they just play on opposite wings, but they are wingers and supposed to be their teams best attacking outlets and stats aren't same, salah has better nos in lesser matches.

Alexis Sanchez has an agreement closed with City. Manchester and Arsenal now have to close the transfer of the Chilean, nothing easy
