Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

You'd have to say that Griezmann, Marquinos, Bakayoko and Willian would be a pretty good summer. Although personally would prefer Griezmann + a striker, as the Robson article hints is possible

On the other side of the coin, Would Belotti, Dier, Perisic and Keane be a terrible one?
Don't know about terrible, but that looks quite underwhelming on paper at least, yes.

Age? 29 years into the season and would cost 70-80 million.

The cost and age yes maybe. I'd argue we need experience in our attack given we have so many young talents though.

I could be wrong but he looks like a physical freak, a little bit like Ibrahimovic. I wouldn't be surprised if he has the same type of longevity.

I think people need to realise that football journalists really don't know much and spend their time scouring the web, forums, other papers and publications for information.

They then tweet this and this is picked up and shared and retweeted into a downward spiral of conjection and guess work. This should be readily aparent having seen RedCafe rumours ending up on "Journos" twitter feeds.

I'll take some positive fake quotes even at this stage after all the doom and gloom.

Crazy if Tuchel has been sacked. Even if Dortmund have had a poor season, he is still a very talented manager.

Everyone seems to be moving fast while we seem to remain quiet... hopefully we will get the targets we want.

City are investing big time because they probably see Pep in his second season with CL as the perfect (perhaps only) chance of winning the thing they really desire, the European cup. They're also acutely aware that Pep is flighty (and doing his mates who own the club a big favour) and won't stick around long.

They won their first trophy in 5 years and are qualified for the CL (their goal for this season) after losing 3 of their starters, it wasn't a poor season. This sacking has nothing to do with Tuchel's abilities as a coach and everything with him not getting along with the board, Mislintat, some of the older players.

Suprising, wouldn't mind seeing him in the prem

Was expected. He fell out with the board and apparently same happened at his previous club even though he wasn't sacked.

It's not really surprising at all.

Just days after winning them their biggest domestic cup competition?? What monstrosity of a club would even think of doing that...

In all seriousness, if this is true, very surprising move.
No its not. He fell out with the board ages ago. This has been on the cards for months.

There's really nothing big yet. Bournemouth sign a keeper, Liverpool a teenager who likes to nutmeg, and one major city signing plus a keeper who has not played for a big team yet.
