Biggest concern for me is Romero in goal against Liverpool and beyond. Wasn't too concerned until the Swansea game but now I'm petrified.

Well we do still have Valdes and De Gea but LVG will end up playing Romero anyway.

I'd rather even give Johnstone a chance.

We'll buy a striker. No doubt about it. No one can be that stupid. We're plenty of time yet. I'm sure some of the youngsters will get a chance but we've only really Wilson and Fletcher in the youth as potential back up. We might see Matas position change but I don't think we'd be that stupid. Maybe we're thinking about next season but it's stupid to take the risk to be frank.

5 hours and counting.

I don't think it's surprising, at all. I'm pretty sure LvG thinks that we've had a terrific start to the season.

We've only got time for a stop gap signing you'd think, there's not going to be a massive signing, we'd have some whisper of it.

It's someone like Austin or no one, and my money is on no one now.

Tbf IIRC that Coentrao deal 2 years ago came out of nowhere pretty much last hour/half hour or so before collapsing.

Well I wouldn't be surprised if De Gea stays in the stands until January when we sell him to Madrid. Valdes would be even more surprising to ever see him play for us again.

Id almost be inclined to agree with you regarding Johnstone, especially if we see a repeat performance from Romero.

Ah as feared if not expected. We're delaying the Martial announcement cause he's the only one. :(

Imagine agreeing with Charlie Nicholas, Ian Holloway and Duncan Castles. What a tosser you'd have to be.

It's pathetic how desperate the media are to stick the knife in. Madrid lowballed us for the worlds best goalkeeper all summer, then cocked up the paperwork. We won.

Just listening to them now and they are absolutely clueless. Sick of hearing the media have endless digs at United and it's all because we don't have Fergie anymore and we haven't won anything for two years. How have we had a bad window? We've sorted out our midfield by adding a quality PL proven defensive midfielder and a Bayern Munich legend. Adding a quality right back and then adding a player who has the potential to be world class one day in Memphis Depay. Could the window have gone smoother? Of course but to say we've had a terrible window is ridiculous.

God I fecking hope we win something this year to shut these cnuts up.
