Well we can hold on to him seeing that he has Euros to worry about next season and would be really insane to not act professionally or play up his best. What we have done is basically bend over for Madrid, again! Two months earlier or now. It does not change the fact and we now don't even have time to get in a replacement for whom we would not be fleeced seeing that it is the last two days of the window.
By holding out until next summer giving us time to find a quality replacement. We spend over £20mil on a loan for Falcao last summer. Losing the same amount to keep DDG another season would be a far better use of money.
Madrid were never going to pay an insane fee for someone whose contract expires next year. We should've either accepted their bid earlier this summer or stood our stance and let him go for free next year.
Definitely himFor comparison:

Is it him????

It's very apt for a poster with this account name to point that outMan United the only club in history to move 3 keepers in one day. That should be illegal under Fifa rules.

I was just going to post the sameGood thing he has Wolverine's brother to defend him from all the angry fans.

I think the world and his dog knew that DDG was going, this is not a surprising move. I'm sure we've been scouting keepers and probably have a deal in place for this eventuality.its idiotic if not amateurish
You dont keep a situation like this to the last moment in the hope of an extra quid or two. Especially a freaking goalkeeper, a hole much harder to fill than most
You call that a good night out? This transfer window is like a good night out. You start off with few shots....that makes you feel wonderful....but the longer the night lasts the more likely you are to wake up hangovered...with someones piss on your jacket...and street cleaner ushering you from a pavement.
That would be the sensible thing for us to do. We're strangers to that logic lately.I think the world and his dog knew that DDG was going, this is not a surprising move. I'm sure we've been scouting keepers and probably have a deal in place for this eventuality.
How is it amateurish? DDG never had any intention of staying and if reports are true Madrid are offering him less than we did, you cant compete with that. How can United realistically do better than hold out to the last minute in the hope of an insane bid from Madrid?
They told you there would be a twist. Now shut up and wait for it.Where's the twist?
In the hips?Where's the twist?
Where's the twist?
We demand Keylor Navas?
Excellent after selling DDG we're back to zero net spend!
So, our attacking options are Rooney (29), Wilson (20), Young (30), Mata (27), Depay (21) and Martial (19). In what world does this attacking unit win anything?
We've gotten rid off di Maria, van Perise, Nani, Hernandez, Falcao, Januzaj.
Getting dicked over by Ramos, selling Di Maria when he had 4 years on his contract, screwing up the Pedro deal and bending over backwards to Real for De Gea. What a great window.

Evans, Januzaj, Chica, Lindegaard, DDG, Valdes. Seems like we're having a closing down sale!

Why is it a horrible idea? That's not a twist though as that horrible idea has been floated for months.

And I'm the gullible one....Ramos was getting a new contract, nearly everyone wanted ADM gone, not in for Pedro and DDG??? you read/believe too many newspapers - gullible's travels

the hilarious thing about this is that UTD arguably need de gea more than brom need berahino and everton need stones.
