Possibly but he's not going to develop much in Scottish football (no offence meant).

Deneyer didn't do badly there. TBH though I'm hearing Celtic will have option to buy for £3m anyway

Haven't seen this guy enough to be personally evangelical on it, but he's basically the most logical signing we could make considering he's the same age (25/26) as Darmian, Smalling and Schneiderlin and they could all peak in the next 2-3 years together with Shaw completing the backline. He's strong, left-footed and was the standout in Monaco's excellent CL and Ligue 1 defense last year.

Negatives would be African Cup duty and uh, not sure what else.

Valdes to land in Turkey on Sunday to complete his move to Besiktas. The agreement is a matter of hours.

Oh I saw that on wiki but I still have no freaking idea. I haven't played FM for a couple of years either.

He hasn't played a lot of professional football, he never played for PSG and barely played for Juventus, so there is not much to say about him, he is good in FM though.

Sterling just went to city for 50m after a fairly shite season. The market is crazy for young english potential, worth the risk to hold out imo.
People still don't seem to understand the current state of the transfer market. Everyone has shit loads of money, therefore clubs demands shit loads of money and even average players go for a shit load.

Yeah, issue is, the mid table prem clubs dont need to sell anymore, everyone is fecking loaded. and from evertons point of view, they can keep him for another 2 years and sell him for the same margin. Gone are the days a club like west brom has to sell berahino because they got offered 10m and a packet of walkers.

Matri very close to a move to West Ham. He's waiting for the final ''ok'' from Bilic.

I just don't get why we aren't going in for Reus. A better player, cheaper and he's not in the champions league. It just makes sense on every possible level.

Reus is born in Dortmund, he supports the BVB and don't want to move for the moment.

I have a sneaky feeling we're in for him... Blackett and Evans going, I would think we would be strengthening the left side of defence

I genuinely want us to go for Pato. he looks to be playing similarly to how he used to (although less so of course), I reckon he'd do a job at the minimum and the romantic in me would kill for him to return to form as I am a bit of a Milan fan from the Van Basten era and I loved him at his peak....still only 25!!! Oh, and dirt cheap.

Tunisian radio are claiming that Abdennour is off to Valencia on a 5 year deal.

who is this guy ? reliable or just bullshite?
He is a United fan but a bit of a wind up character. He speaks to people all the time on his radio show and it's easy plausible he could have been told something. Although it's also possible he is just on the wind-up.

He is wumming though, i remember him from last year, teasing all the time and nothing happened. Big news coming up bullshit.

I always find it weird when various tweets appear, like this guy and the one presenter from BT Sport saying a new number 9 is coming. I dont know, it is like someone tweets something and the others just copy it in hope there is something in it.

Ex ITV, now BT sport presenter.

Tweet says "Pretty sure Man Utd will have a new striker by 6pm Tuesday."

If you look at this guys favourites...he favourites a lot of Liverpool stuff from Liverpool fans about the team, suggesting he is a fan and in a position to WUM a few United fans. Just saying. Doubt he would know anything so the alternative motive is that.

I reckon the number of players in our team may increase, decrease or stay the same by the 2nd of September.

Where's Blatter with his slave quotes when you need him?
Clubs holding players back will eventually lead to legal action being taken & a simple, here's the remainder of his contract paid out & off he goes system will result. Players get paid more, clubs get less stability & lower fees for outgoing players.

We must be in for a defender, Smalling, Jones, Blind, Rojo & McNair doesn't look like great coverage, when usually 2 of them are injured at any given time.

Id rather sign Jermain Defoe..seeing as he has offered much more in the last half decade.

All of these twitter people are just feck-allers that have no clue about what is really happening, sources tell me.
What a sad little existence they have.

who is this guy ? reliable or just bullshite?
I don't think he's one to WUM, but having listened to his radio show before he seems like he would massively exaggerate any information given to him regardless of how good the source is. He's been told something but I'd take it with a pinch of salt

Yeah why not, hated at Madrid, he'll be loved by United. Closer to home etc.
The point is people always seem to assume that the only thing needed for a transfer to happen is a big enough bid, and overlook the simple fact that often a player will be happy where they are.

I don't see Bale wanting to leave Madrid. Not yet.

I don't see Bale bailing on his Madrid adventure yet. Another up and down season, full of anger from the supporters, and he might be ready to leave, but not this summer.

Possibly but he's not going to develop much in Scottish football (no offence meant).
It's not a terrible league, great support, plenty of passion and some pressure, and it's a whole lot better than the U21s.

Perez won't let Bale leave just yet. Another tough season for him and them as a team and it could happen. Benzema suits United's needs more than Bale at the moment I think. Him leaving Madrid seems unlikely too.
