My birthday on Tuesday. I know what i'll be doing all day.
So some journos are saying we'll definitely sign a striker. Others are saying selling Valdes and Evans is our only remaining business. It's clear that nobody knows shit about what's going on.
Rumours are that he already refused 2 clubs to stay at Ajax and develop more.Probably Arkadiusz Milik.
Actually I think Ibra and Rooney would go brilliantly together. Both can be the one who drop deep or go forward, and Ibra is a huge physical presence and will bully any defender. Ibra won't be pressing like crazy or anything, but he has pretty much the best hold up play in the world, is a lethal finisher, can create something out of nothing for both himself and for others. In terms of strikers, ignoring age, he'd pretty much be the ideal striker for our set up (ignoring Messi who would be ideal for everybody). Lewandowski after him. But Ibra would be perfect here IMO. Just the only thing is him and Van Gaal don't like each other and neither are the types to put their differences beside them and focus on football.I don't get the people who are calling for Ibra. Yes, he's a fantastic player, but wasn't part of the reason we got rid of Van Persie because he lacked energy, i.e. running in behind, pressing, keeping defenders busy, etc? Ibra, as good as he is, won't give us that, and assuming Rooney would be dropped back to the 10, I don't think Ibra's style would suit his play.
Would be definitely a deal outside the media's spotlight but not sure if he'll be ready to take such responsibility. Blind was the best Ajax player and even he had difficulties in taking full duty in United last season.Probably Arkadiusz Milik.
Probably Arkadiusz Milik.
I think it isHope it's not berahino
Same, muppet season is getting worse year by year.THIS. So much THIS. I'll be glad when that door shuts Tues. I am away and won't have to sit holding onto pointless hope.
Surprised he's not getting more of a chance with Albion to be honest. Seen him on a couple of occasions in Senior Cup competitions and he seems a top prospect for them.
The fees are going to be a whole other level of mental next summer, aren't they? No wonder people feel disillusioned with the game, the money getting thrown around is crazy.
Van Persie kept getting knocked off the ball and looked weak. Doubt it will be like that with IbraI don't get the people who are calling for Ibra. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen.Same, muppet season is getting worse year by year.
Andreas Valera has the inside track...
I'm sure Ajax would love to sell their striker who they've just signed this window.
Didn't he spend a season at Ajax on loan already?
Woody would have had him months ago if it was up to him. He's a big, big name. But Ibra and Van Gaal sounds like a powder keg waiting to go off.Wouldnt surprise me if it was Zlatan. Woody wants him, i can feel it.
