Who are the strikers who are attainable right now?
In Spain, their must be some who have reasonable buyouts.
Griezmann for example would be perfect, can play anywhere in an attacking role.

Is Aubameyang a potential target? or Lewandowski

There was a tweet earlier saying Ogden said LVG wants Lewa.... but I reckon it will be Ibra tbh

So... Berahino wants out of West Brom... news that Evans is having a medical at West Brom... now reports we'll be getting a new striker in the same day as Evans having a medical? Coincidence?

On the baggies forum last week, there was thread saying Berahino was coming here and Evans going the other way

Berahino's supposedly Levy's target. Quite strategic thing to do in hunt for a certain striker.

I reckon so. They put out a statement last night that he's going nowhere, partly because they haven't got time to get in a replacement. I know money talks but can't see them going back on that this window.

If we are signing a striker - it wont be someone like Berahino. He will go for the top-shelf - or not at all

If we're getting a striker, I'm hoping it's Berahino. Young, English and talented. Hopefully Evans going West Brom will sweeten up the deal.

So some journos are saying we'll definitely sign a striker. Others are saying selling Valdes and Evans is our only remaining business. It's clear that nobody knows shit about what's going on.

Seems to be quite a bit of smoke suddenly, and with established people in the media. Might just mean a very convincing bit of gossip is being spread around though.

Lewandowski is a huge possibility lads, or it just might be we're breaking the world transfer record on Harry Kane.

Sorry if this has already been covered but why wouldn't the media jump on being first to report the name?

I very highly doubt Bayern would sell one of their best players when they don't even need the money in the first place.

Unofficial sources say that Bayern has rejected 87 offers of EPL clubs this summer from 15m EUR to 120m EUR...

I bet they do this now as part of a build up to deadline day, knowing that there are loads of United fans desperate for a new signing. Really doubt anything will happen.

I don't get the people who are calling for Ibra. Yes, he's a fantastic player, but wasn't part of the reason we got rid of Van Persie because he lacked energy, i.e. running in behind, pressing, keeping defenders busy, etc? Ibra, as good as he is, won't give us that, and assuming Rooney would be dropped back to the 10, I don't think Ibra's style would suit his play.
