Is it just me or has this been the most United-Transfer-Bullshit free day in years?
I still fail to understand how they were removed, as far as I understand it clubs still need to break even.
City have a large revenue now though so I suppose it makes sense.
The Gaul? Who is this mysterious Chav Frenchman? And what secrets does he hold??They feel that big, bad Chelsea have been classless somehow by having the gaul to bid for their player.
It's so quiet, we're probably actually buying someone....Is it just me or has this been the most United-Transfer-Bullshit free day in years?
They demand "outrageous" fees because they don't want to sell the players, and they're dealing with clubs with more money than sense. They're well within their right to do so. The players they "take" are players the bigger teams want shot of, hence the low prices. How is this exceptionally irritating?Everton are one of those exceptionally irritating clubs that demand outrageous fees for their boys, yet take yours for ridiculous fees that'd barely buy league 1 players

Screwed his development, what a tard joining them.He had very good season with Benfica and pissed all that away by signing for that genius of manager, who played him as RWB most of times.
Aye, they're just maximising the money they'll get which is understandable. I just hate the whole faux naivety from the likes of Martinez, as if Everton would never bid for another player. In fact, I find Martinez smug and ever since the whole Fellaini/Baines (if I recall around £30m!!!!) "derisory" bid comments, I've quite disliked the club.
It's depressing that that two player thread in the transfer forum are rival targets. Is it just me or has this been the most United-Transfer-Bullshit free day in years?
They will indeed. It is projected that the bottom club next season will earn as much in TV revenue as Chelsea made last season from winning it. About £100m. It's mad.
That's probably the main reason we're pushing so hard for Stones now. His price may be £60m next summer.
What happened to not selling him then?who is david mcdonell ?
He's saying that a 30m bid for de gea is expected before tuesday. United willing to accept, sources close to the process saying a dela could be done by monday.
Mirror journo. Used to have some sources in the United camp around the Moyes era and posted quite a few lineup leaks but that dried up when either whoever it was he got his info from left or the club stopped it internally.who is david mcdonell ?

From what the article said it seems to be all coming from the De Gea/Mendes campWhat happened to not selling him then?
It doesn't matter, we have Romero and JohnstoneWhat happened to not selling him then?
I would accept that at this stage.who is david mcdonell ?

tbh, I think he will go. I just can't see DDG playing for us again after everything that's gone on.From what the article said it seems to be all coming from the De Gea/Mendes camp
You shouldn't.I would accept that at this stage.
The gig is up. He isn't worth the hassle. Every game for the rest of the season will have the cameras on him in the stand. What's the point? You shouldn't.
Thought the whole idea was to keep him for a year then let him go on a free.

The idea was to get a reasonable fee for him or we wouldn't let him go. Can't see anything happening before the window shuts. Real won't pay £30m when they've been taking the piss most of the window. You shouldn't.

People in here don't want to admit that but he is, he's one of the best keepers in the world and this year we will be playing some of the best teams in europe. September 1st he'll play knowing that he's off to madrid and the club can do nothing to stop him, he's also got euros to play for and is a professional. If he is in manchester and not playing then lack of game time becomes more detrimental to his career than it is to the club. If he stays, he will play. The gig is up. He isn't worth the hassle. Almost got me. I'm on my phone so saw the quote was off. Good effort but must try harderDe Donut never gets old ...oh wait, it did, ages ago
We used the same rhetoric to laugh off the di maria to PSG reports.I'm surprised so many think De Gea will still definitely be leaving this summer. These supposed bids are mean to have been "just about to happen in the next few days" multiple times throughout the entire summer, yet absolutely nothing has happened yet. I can't see that changing before the window closes. I think Madrid will be happy to wait out the year on his contract and the papers are just desperate to fan a dying story.
