Greizmann and Muller.

Woodward needs to redeem himself with a massive signing otherwise we can forget about finishing in the top 4 with Liverpools good recent form.

We need to sign Muller if we want to win the title and Champions League.

Loool. The form that matches ours identically. I embrace your sarcasm..

Player wants to leave and manager won't play him. Why would you keep him against his will?

Small time. Cash in quickly and find replacements while you still can. If they're just holding out for a higher fee, what good is that on deadline day when it's too late?

They already spent a club record fee on his replacement.

It's posts like this that convince me some of our fans don't actually watch football.

11 years on this forum and you come across like a 12 year old. You must have been a precocious baby.

It's pretty cool that West Brom can afford to turn down a £22m bid for Berahino. They probably want 25 or something, which is doable in todays market. Maybe even 30 when deadline day desperation sets in. So much money in football these days it's absurd..

WBA draining Levy, guess they will ask 25-30 mil. maybe even that wont be enough, which is insane.

lol why are West Brom officially declaring this every time though?

Normally I'd agree, you just shoot yourselves in the foot like Spurs did with Berbatov cause you've got no time to spend the money. But West Brom have been smart, already got his replacement in with Rondon so they can hold out and squeeze the deal for a few extra million.

Seems Levy has found his match. 22 million for Berahino is a very, very generous offer.

Like someone said above, I think Rondon may have been bright in since they were light up top even with Berahino. Not positive he was his replacement as much as he was depth.

Could be wrong, I don't know.

They've brought in Rondon and Lambert. To add to Ideye and Anichebe. Looks a decent set of strikers to me, fair play to them for holding out for more, think they will get £25m+

Rondon, Lambert, Anichebe, Ideye is alright as forward options go for the likes of West Brom. They've got a fair few attacking midfielders as well so can them playing 1 up top sometimes.

Totally forgot about Lambert. Fair enough.

Crazy that Berahino is going to cost significantly more than we just paid for Pedro. Clause or not. He'll cost more than someone who has won everything in the world and came from Barca.

You cant be surprised about that, really?I mean if you push hard for Stones,Everton could ask some insane amount. Only way for clubs to buy over hyped domestic players for decent amount of money is when they have 1 year left on contract, otherwise embrace and pay it up.

Surprised? No. Shocked that it's got to the point where simply being English adds that much of a premium? Yes.

This is very smart stuff from Wba, they know that with one week left Spurs have got themselves into a desperate situation and the spurs fans will be really pissed if Levy doesn't pull this through so Wba are going to take this to deadline day and force Spurs to put up crazy money

Hats off to West Brom. They obviously have a price in mind and are sticking to it. I'd bet it's Levy who has told him to put in the transfer request hoping to force their hand and West Brom aren't that desperate obviously.

If people are valuing Kane at 40 million+ after one good season 25 million for Berahino is hardly unrealistic.

Good to see Levy getting a taste of his own medicine. Not that theres anything wrong with the way he does business, in fact he does it well, but its still good to see the roles reversed for a change. This has got 25million deadline day written all over it.

Levy is an idiot. Tottenham waste the first month of their season every year. They eventually bring in a few players close to the deadline that inevitably perform poorly and get sold at a loss a season or two later.

He brings in a good fee for his players but the general tactic hurts Spurs where it matters, and that's on the pitch.
