What rubbish. It is a very valid point. We havent sold anyone we didnt have/want to.. and signed players worth 220m (if that number is accurate).. and the squad is nowhere near as good as it should be after that kind of spending. If you take Di Maria out of the equation, it is still 175m spent and us being toothless.

You are right to be upset if you only look the numbers, but I asked myself, how much is needed to buy players with Ferdinand, Vidic, Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs and Evra potential, in the current market?

Personally I think that it's very close to 200m£, and that's what Van gaal and Woodward had to do. On top of that they had to replace a handful of squad players.

As per Ian Ladyman, United have been offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but don't want him.
He mentioned that in one of his articles last week. Ibra would've been a fantastic option for a season before he fecked off to the MLS.

Yet it is always net spend with the rest..compare us to our rivals..and ADM wasnt the only player we sold..as part of the rebuilding job, we are bound to spend quite a lot

Look at how many duds are in that list..City have spent almost 700 mil pounds on great names including such as Jo, Elano , Roque Santa Cruz and Joleon Lescott all at massive fees.

For the Chelsea amounts above , that was before the football inflation we have now..so that would be about 400-500mil today..

The point is that when you are having a massive rebuilt, they are likely to be mistakes somewhere..Its impossible for there not to be..

So both Sport1 and Bild saying we're trying to hijack the KDB transfer? What an end to the window that would be.

Ridiculous if true. He is better than our current strikers and would improve us in general a fair bit. I assume other than his wages for a season or two, he wouldn't be a big transfer fee.

The media once again inventing a story to run with ''De Bruyne rejects United for City'' when he inevitably joins City.

He is also a "personality" that has the potential to be a complete nightmare.

50 years those ABUs talking about net spend when they describe transfer of clubs, nope, not when we are in question, the moment we crossed some money line they all start shouting 200 mil 300 mil 500 mil.,on Sunday Supplement that clown Custis made a joke how we spent 300 billions.

The story, a short one, says that we have entered the 'poker game' and hold a 'great interest'. According to their sources we're prepared to pay 75 million euro.

Mike Keegan says we're not interested in KDB

Were you born in 2014 and didn't see the status of our squad in 2013-14? Let's just consider the experience we lost at the end of that season and how we had to replace them all in one go and without CL football. This is not accounting for the deterioration in quality of the players we had earmarked to take us forward - we are talking Evans, Kagawa, Rafael, RVP, Hernandez, Cleverley and Nani. If you actually look beyond the figure you will see that we spent it adding on almost nothing, compare that with City spending £100m on the team they had last season!

We spent from a position of extreme weakness and others haven't been waiting for us, they are still strengthening.

Our name gets thrown into the hat regarding De Bruyne by some BS paper and Man City tie up the final stages of an inevitable deal. Cue mocking saying he rejected United and people bashing Woodward about not getting him.

Sport1 are pretty reliable.

The German media?

Come on man, Wolfsburg are planting stories in the media so they could get more money from City, it's obvious. Everyone is using us for different purposes - whether it's squeezing more money or agents securing new contracts for their clients. This fecking transfer window may have turned me into a cynic, but I don't buy these Neymar and De Bruyne stories at all.

I'm sure the British media will pick it up and gladly use this information to run with a story similar to the one that I mentioned.

The media love slagging United off. It's one of the reasons why everyone paid so much attention to Pedro on Sunday.
