Ramos has signed a new deal at Real Madrid until 2020.
He's just done that to get Madrid a better fee. This is still on.

Pedro will happenNever going to happen same as Pedro won't happen.
We will seePedro will happen
Quoted so I can return to mock you when it does
Good, this should mean that De Gea is here for this season.
Ramos doing the obvious.
Who will be next seasons silly transfer saga? Muller is my bet.

a De Gea lacking focus albeit if you listen to our manager
Hummels was the first target, Ramos was seemingly the second. So he was the only target? what happened to having options? and did anyone think that we would get him in our transfer team? This looked like a non-starter from the beginning..a La decima hero , who has been at the club for 10 years, the next captain, Spanish leaving the club because of a contract dispute with the presidential elections just 2 years away?
Its just me, but I dont believe in this only signing world class defender thing, especialy with the history of injuries that our defense has..Just like Darmian, I believe that defensive gems or very good defenders can be found ..Look at Bayern signing Douglas Costa, not world class and seemingly not one of the biggest names, but he has been one of their best signings..chasing unobtainable targets may not be the best idea.Hummels was the first target, Ramos was seemingly the second.
You're point is a good one generally, but when you look at our squad at the CB options...all of them of them are of a similar profile - either a decent to good player, or a player with good talent. I'm completely with the club's decision to now look at adding that one top quality defender there, instead of another player of the same profile as ones currently in the squad. Its just me, but I dont believe in this only signing world class defender thing, especialy with the history of injuries that our defense has..Just like Darmian, I believe that defensive gems or very good defenders can be found ..Look at Bayern signing Douglas Costa, not world class and seemingly not one of the biggest names, but he has been one of their best signings..chasing unobtainable targets may not be the best idea.

I really think that Smalling barring injury will be class..but the other ones, not really..I like Phil and have defended him a lot, but seeing him in preseason and last season, its just seems like something is missing with him(No, not a brain)...and the injury crisises we face each season scare me..especially with so much more games this season..I really do think we can get a defender that can be good from day 1..and not necessarily the FM wonderkids, Darmian wasnt as touted before he got here, there has to be someone like that..this scouts need to earn their money. You're point is a good one generally, but when you look at our squad at the CB options...all of them of them are of a similar profile - either a decent to good player, or a player with good talent. Yes, I have never been convinced that spending huge money is the only way to go either..we have been very good historically at this club at buying players that are on the verge of stardom..good players that get even better with a better team like United..I think we are trying to not overspend for anyone, and I agree with that..it sets bad precedent for any future purchases..I'd agree with this, there are plenty of better options out there who could add to our team, only going for the obvious world class talents suggests that scouting isn't really working all that well. I do worry though that we're having to reign in our spending after last season. Everyone expected us to spend big but perhaps we sold so many wage-heavy players and made back some money from di Maria because the big spending experiment didn't work. It would explain why we're not in for Otamendi etc and why we're so keen to bring down the price of Pedro who is already a bargain (as well as why we're sticking with Rooney, converting Blind etc).
We'll take him in three years timeRamos won't be at Madrid till 2020
Well, there seems to be a difference in player assessment between you and the club. Anyways, I wouldn't blame the scouts either as all the noises from the club are pointing towards our intention to only buy a top level ball playing defender. Can't fault the scouts as they aren't making that decision.I really think that Smalling barring injury will be class..but the other ones, not really..I like Phil and have defended him a lot, but seeing him in preseason and last season, its just seems like something is missing with him(No, not a brain)...and the injury crisises we face each season scare me..especially with so much more games this season..I really do think we can get a defender that can be good from day 1..and not necessarily the FM wonderkids, Darmian wasnt as touted before he got here, there has to be someone like that..this scouts need to earn their money.

Perhaps there is a reason for that..but it just feels like chasing unobtainable targets will just leave us running around..I think we can rebuild this team, even though that might take more time ..and perhaps the board may be more worried about that...But still two weeks left..lets see what happensWell, there seems to be a difference in player assessment between you and the club. Fair points and hard to argue against. But again, getting someone of that level of quality would again mean at least a few weeks more of experimentation and instability in the back 4. Generally, you would want as few disruptions there as possible. And we're already integrating a few new players in other areas of the pitch. I think the club have rightly prioritized the transfer strategy for CB area.I tend to agree with this, however I do feel there are players out there who are not regarded as world class, but would be an upgrade on Jones AND esp Blind.

So whom are you referring to?
For a LCB I think Laporte would be a good signing tbh. Also I think Abdennour is also a good player. Marquinhos at PSG.
I'm sure there are others, tbh Fabian Shah I think would have been a decent signing too especially on a free transfer, at least as a replacement for Evans who we should move on.
If true then his family is fecking stupid or just used to getting their own way. If they want de gea in madrid so badly then just wait for a year and he'll walk in the club through the doors as a free agent, nothing utd can do to stop him.
Not sure why he isn't being considered, beast of a forward, pacey and very tricky in the box.
