Yeah. Don't think they have enough to break into the top 4 like you say. I think the only thing that would then prevent us from getting him is either us not wanting him having signed a better option (I think he will be the best option available) or him not wanting us/ another club wanting him and signing him. All the top clubs currently have stable keepers so I think we're in pole position here. I hope, though, we can get him this window if De Gea leaves. Levy will be a tough negotiator but he shouldn't be asking (realistically) for anything above £18m surely?

For sure, although the club uses Mullock (as a City fan) very often to release stuff that is favourable to the club, so they want him on their side. I don't think they'd want to upset him by telling him explicitly that we haven't bid for de Bruyne knowing full well we have and damage his credibility.

tbh if they get their remaining targets (pedro, kdb and otamendi) they won't need to be spending in a while.

The way Woodward has acted while he's been in charge, I don't think there's a chance in hell we're looking at just signing Pedro and being done for the summer. He's obviously eying up bigger names.

Not that Muller wouldn't improve us (he would), he is not the player we need. Mata is known as a very good goalscorer and Depay will also come good as one. The issue we are having is that we have very little pace on the ball going forwards and very little creativity.
So although Muller would be good coming off the wing, we need more creative players in the team. I'm sure Mata, Rooney and Depay would score loads if we were creating a lot more. Getting Pedro and playing only one CDM along with Schweiny and Herrera would be a start though.

Muller saw Bastian with his arm around Memphis last night. Jealously has forced him into putting him a request to join us.
Can Muller play as a no. 9? If so, i'd much prefer him as the CF and then Mata as the no. 10. Rooney's very poor atm.
