Because we didnt win anything last year so everyone is shit, even Giggsy is shit now.
I don't know if it's true, but we were apparently interested and he wasn't because of a lack of CL, we made an offer, Bayern came in and bought him.

Smalling has improved but he doesn't even have a CB partnership to build on from last season. Jones is once again injured and LVG wants to play someone who isn't a defender as a CB. In the prem ? Not the wisest of moves, blind and smalling have never worked together so they have nothing to build on from last season. They're starting from scratch so how can you imply the defence will be better this season ?
Smalling needs a better partner, simple.

I'd be gutted if Otamendi did end up at Citeh, but i'm equally as gutted that there isn't even ONE United player in the top 35 shortlist for European Player of the Year. Not even De Gea. Shocking.

I totally agree, our players are good enough and our new midfield has the right personal, now LVG needs to actually build the defensive system.
Don't think Otamendi is type of passing Cb lvg wants. But never know we might make that move due to need and non availability. But personally don't like idea of that as Lvgs record about players he isn't convinced about is not that great.
