I think we are trying to be a bit frugal though. Everything I've read so far suggests we want to pay €24-26m + add ons. I have no issue with this. We get criticised when we overspend and criticised when we try to pay less. I half wonder if Barcelona are trying to get us to cough up. The delay until after the supercup is hardly a hinderance though mind.

We are, but it's not the reason of the delay, in my opinion.

Their Super Cups are done on 17 August.

You'd think after all the service he has given them they'd stop messing things around over a couple of mickey mouse pots, surely the mighty Hobbit and the Cannibal can get it done without Brazilian Rhianna.

If they are this worried about losing him for a couple of games now what is their plan for the rest of the season if they get more injuries?

I think they are planning on using the Perdo money to sign Nolito from Celta.

Well they already signed Turan and have been linked to Nolito, they just cannot play untill januari. If they can get by untill then they'll be fine.

They also have Munir

Some class signings being made outside the top 6 this summer.

The league will be won by the least amount of points ever this season, the so called smaller clubs are getting bigger.

Daniel Levy thought Frazier Campbell was a nice bonus when we bought Berbatov off them. Kane + ££ for Hernandez sounds like a deal right up his alley.

They getting rid of two big earners in Soldado and Adebayor. Also sold a lot of players too.
They've spent more than they've sold so far (I think) If Spurs want their new stadium they will find it hard to resist big offers for their star players. Arsenal are a good example of that.

Cue Glaston telling us that the stadium's already been paid for by selling eco-friendly catfood to Martin Chivers' nan.

No they have not. They spent £19m on three players and sold about 7 for £34m.

That's not including above two players that I mentioned and Lennon.

I hope we sign Kane, just to see the tears coming from Norff Landan. Always funny to sees the floods of tears from upper midtable teams who think they can hold onto their players. I'm actually errect thinking about it now.

Not sure about that but I could be wrong. Either way, the point remains.

Heard very good things from this Rondon fella, never seen him play though. I look forward seeing what the fuss is all about.

He's a good striker. Top scorer at Malaga in both seasons he was there at the mere age of 21-22. Big, strong, quite fast and good heading ability. Can score with either foot.

Quite a scoop for West Brom IMO.
