sounds like it. Not watched their most recent game so can't comment. That'll be something for @JuveGER or @zlatan_ish

That's not clear yet. We are still looking for a midfielder in general and have been looking at attacking midfielders. In our last game we played a 3-5-2 formation, so Pogba played his normal role in a midfield of three and Allegri has stated that he thinks that this is Pogba's best Position. We will see. So far it looks like giving him the number 10 shirt was more about acknowledging his importance for the team. Now that Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal are gone, Pogba has to step up and be one of the main guys.

What do you make of Mandža so far. I know its been only few games but do you expect him to come good for Juve?

to make it clear. we struggled for goals last season.

What did we do? We got rid of RVP, Falcao, Di Maria, Nani and brought back Hernandez. Addtion: unproven youngster.
To be fair, Nani wasnt here last season..and I doubt he was ever part of our plans either, We would probably sold have sold him last season if we could..and Falcao, did we really lose him? But yes, we need more potency in our attack..I think if we created more chances , Hernandez would be very good for us..

he is insane.
What exactly is insane about saying if a better player than what we have comes along we'd buy them?

He flat out says we wouldn't just buy another defender for the sake of it and they'd have to be better than Smalling. Whats wrong with that?

Insane is that he wants to buy a CB better than what we have, and he name dropped Smalling, Jones and McNair, so an RCB.

He thinks LVG is trying to find a replacement for Smalling.

Read the article, he says it applies to every position not just RCB. He's basically just saying if Ramos is available we'd get him regarding RCB.

I hope to god that we don't sign him. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I don't want anymore midfielders. Pedro and CB and I think we'd be ok.
Usually I wouldn't be too against a signing like this. Don't exactly need him, but he's experienced and wouldn't be too high a price you'd think.

But our current squad has far more pressing concerns, namely a CB, a striker, a winger and looking like a GK.

Well if we activate Pedro's release clause Barcelona won't be able to block or delay the move. Sky reported yesterday that we're interested, but there isn't any bid made for Pedro, so maybe we're looking at other players as well, taking our time.

So far, so good. He scored in the Super Cup and set up the second goal. I think expectations are high for him. We paid good money for him and he is a well established player. He needs to produce from the get-go. I hope we can utilise him properly, because wing play and crosses are not exactly our strength.

Yup, he's great with headers so you'll need to adapt a bit.

You make it sound like that's a bad thing...
Its not a bad thing but having two Silvas is not going to double Aguero's goal tally by twice though, right? Also, he shines at Wolfsburg because he has very little defensive responsibility. City would be a very defensively vulnerable team if they play their 4-4-2 with De Bruyne and Silva on wings and while they could escape with that against bottom half, they are going to struggle against big teams. I can see a Moyes like Everton beating them or any other team with defensive dilligence getting a result if they play both of them.

Isn't the problem that Pedro's actual buyout clause is 150M Euros? The 30M Euro's is just a "Gentlemans agreement" he has with the club. Barcelona may well be happy to sell to us at that price, but they're under no pressure to let the transfer go through until they want it to. Which at the moment is looking like it could be only when Neymar is back fit.

I wonder if the Pedro stuff is Barça trying to get us to pay the clause to get it done. I remember reading that we are offering less than the clause plus a bit in add-ons.

It was reported early they wanted him for the Super Cup. If there are no signs by the end of the week that we are going to get him then I'd be filing this one away.
