He is not at the level of a Di Maria, if Pedro (or better) is available then we are right to say no to this lad.

Yeah agreed; also doesn't say much about him if PSG are willing to let him go. If we did turn him down, it would suggest we're confident of being able to get someone better in.

He might not be at di Maria's or Pedro's level, but he's got the talent to eclipse both. Like some have said before, it's a not surprise that Fergie wanted him here, a few years back.

I disagree tbh, he is very talented, but I don't think he will even be able to eclipse Pedro (who is obviously seriously underrated) let alone Di Maria.

I've never been that impressed with Moura and if this is true PSG obviously don't rate him that highly either

It is a very piss poor league and Moura is way over-rated on here

I don't think anyone over rates Moura. It's not as if people are calling him a great, but he's super talented and, I think, he's worth the risk. It's what you get with many Brazilians.

Yeah, the hypocrites claim Di Maria is pissing his career away in a shite league, yet Moura would be amazing and throw stats at us from this supposed shit league. Which is it?

Neither, Di Maria joins a very good team and will play far into the CL every seasons, and we don't know what Lucas Moura can do in a different league, because the Ligue 1 is complicated for attacking players, the defenders are fast and powerful and the defense well organized.

Exactly, Ligue 1 is probably now at it's worst level for 15 years . PSG have virtually no competition, Monaco have moved away from the rich league, Marseille have lost their best players and Lyon are nowhere near the side they were in the 2000s

Pedro is a good player, a very efficient one, but he isn't a top level player. I think you may be over-rating Pedro when you say that Moura cannot eclipse him, he's got bags of potential, and he's Brazilian.

That's what I thought. The French league isn't as bad as it's made out on here. Plenty of strong physical sides in there.

Yeah, the Ligue 1 is only shite in term of spectacle, but it's one of the rare leagues that can say that they have at least one player in every top European side.

All I'm hearing about Moura is he has bags of potential. I've been hearing this since we first wanted to sign him.
I mean has the guy fulfill any of that potential.

I'm not sure whether you're being serious with that or just on the WUM. However who gives a feck about the fact hes Brazilian
Moura has shown feck all to say he can eclipse an important player in multiple UCL cup wins, a WC win and a EURO win. Not to mention that this guys is a massive big game player too

Pedro wasn't carried by Barca all those years, is 2 footed, can beat a man, is a much better finisher than Moura and is far better off the ball, and his link up play is also a level way above.

However I guess because he played in one of the most successful teams in the history of the game and his name isn't Messi and he is not Brazlian means he not that good of a player really. Just a passenger.

He is working on his decision making and he improved a lot, that's the only thing that he lacks. The problem with Lucas Moura is that he has been considered ready way to early, the reality is that his talent is real but PSG bought a youngster for the price of a finished product. When they bought him he was like Pereira today.

It's worse, PL is far more physical than ligue 1 - Di Maria guaranteed a Ligue 1 Championship medal every season he's there - and PSG will not win the CL, playing against crap teams week in week out is not good "training" for winning against top European teams, they beat Chelsea last season cos Jose got his tactics completely wrong. Yes PSG might occasionally win against a top team

No I wasn't being serious about the Brazilian part, it was a joke.

As for Pedro, he's now 28, definitely not past it, and we may only get a few more good years out of him. I actually wanted Pedro here a couple of years back, around the time he was 24/25. You're last sentence is silly, as I didn't imply any of that. John Oshea is also a CL winner, PL winner, FA cup winner, not that Pedro is on his level, but I'm sure you understand the point. I'm not against signing Pedro, as I've said before, he's a very decent player, however, I'd much rather sign a younger player who has his best years ahead of him. Heck, I don't see why we wouldn't sign both.

Yeah but there are so many players who had potential and potential and suddenly they were in their 30s without ever fulfilling that potential.

This doesn't make much sense. So, you never take a risk on young players, any more? Is that what you're implying?

If true, this would be very silly on our part. He's got bags of potential and could still develop into a world beater.

As for him rejecting us, who cares. Manchester United is not the first choice for many players, for example our own keeper, who would still be a god, here, if he was to sign an new contract.

Just in time for Barca/Real to swoop in for him after we've ironed out his flaws for them.

Id like to see the likes of Peirera and Januzaj get minutes. However I wouldn't mind us signing 2 wingers, but I wouldn't have Moura here over Peirera/Januzaj getting game time.

Pedro + 1, the plus one needs to be a top level players, we already have a lot of young attackers with potential.

Depay, Wilson, Januzaj, Peirera (I know hes not primarily an attacker, but he looks like hes going to play there) and Lingard too.

EDIT: I appreciate Moura is further along than most of those players, but Depay is the project, we don't need another. We need established and experienced players in our attack too

I think extending Young's contract means we'll only buy one more attacker. Young/Pedro (LW) - Depay/Januzaj (#10) - Mata/Lingard/Pereira (RW). Unless, we're looking to send some players out on loan, which might be the case.

Arsene won't sign Benzema, IMO.
