what's the fee? Can't see the tweet. I'm assuming it's about RvP too btw?

Can't see us getting near that fee but if we did that would be incredible business. £6m for a title in 2013

Does seem odd that they're giving the price in Sterling when they should be giving it in Euros no?

There is no other currency than euros in the article. (Il Manchester lo sta trattando per una cifra inferiore ai 15 milioni).

That will probably be euros then given that its being reported in Italy you'd think.

I suppose, and it is said that United expect 15m, not that the clubs agreed on 15m.

Or they know that somebody's very desperate to get him so they want to squeeze out extra mils out of the deal.
Teams have done it before. Usually happens during the season but wouldn't put it beyond Athletic.

Had a peep at that Italian website through Google translate. They do mention fifteen million (with no mention of pounds), so even if it's true, then it is likely 15 million Euros, which is around about what he is worth today.

Even £10M would be a pretty good deal for us tbh.

It would surely be Euros but still a good fee for a striker who will be 32 when the season starts and is in the last year of his contract.

The Arsenal striker went to the Red Davils in 2012 for 30 million euro, but now, because it will expire, its market value has almost halved.

Manchester is treating him for an amount less than 15 million.

Definitely speaking in euros.

It's not breaking news, it was in their paper this morning, and has been covered by Sports Witness.

It's likely bollocks too
