The bitterness and red faced anger towards Di Maria and PSG is beyond comical. Keep it up, it makes me laugh. The club has seen its far share of wrong'uns, Di Maria just doesn't come anywhere close to matching them, and yet you'd think he was the spawn of satan. I get the disappointment, but I'm already over it and moved on, pretty easy when a player has such a little impact like he did.

Too tired  Good fecking riddance

To be fair that can hamper a medical. Tests with nuclear contrast which are done usually to check the heart can be unrecogniseable if the body isn't in the right state, if he has been training that can be a reason to delay the test.

It's probably a bit extreme, but I can see why people are really pissed off at him since it seems like he really just couldn't be arsed.

I agree with this...I have to admit that I wasn't sorry to see Di Maria go as I felt towards the end of last season he was so unsettled in Manchester that he looked like he wasn't interested in trying anymore and we were paying him insane money...his body language looked like he wasn't interested and for 250,000 quid a week you should at least look interested even if you definitely have no plans to stay beyond the summer....Looked like he was trying to force a move away as long ago as the start of the year.......But it was still an honour that such a massive signing chose to come to this club and there's no hard feelings and wish him well

Andy Mittens latest piece says Pedro will be United's last attacking signing.

Think Pedro is a great signing, but with di Maria gone just that one signing is nowhere near enough.

Not saying he's wrong but there's just something about Mitten I dislike, his articles I find painful to read at times, so much waffle and trying too hard to come across as an intelligent writer.

If Mitten is right, and Ducker is also right that we don't want a CB, then once Pedro is in we are basically done (assuming DDG stays).

So our net spend once we get a few loan fees in and lose a few more fringe players, Valdes, Powell, Henriquez, our net spend could stand at less than £30 million, and our wage bill a good chunk lower. This season of all seasons I see this as very unlikely, so I still expect a big signing to come in after Pedro, be a CB, or forward.

Its almost like every psg rumour everyone denied for a year has been proven right and no one can handle it...

Its also as if we didn't attempt to offer him to Bayern to get Muller, I suspect LVG wanted rid of him tbh

Dude, the deal is done.
Some fans are really resisting this, but he is gone. He will play for PSG next year.
Di Maria and PSG have done nothing wrong.

I realise that he is arguably our most gifted/talented player and we probably wont have a player like him for many years, but some people need to get over it.
We let go of: Falcao, RVP, Rio, Vidic, Evra (this guy was one of the best left backs in our league), plus loads of other players and there was no bitterness. Di Maria goes and it really is hurting some people.

And the ill-will: to actually wish bad on another person who has done no harm to you; some of the posters on here ... words fail me.

We can't all act like Ganghi...

German league is full of men with beards that cover more than 25% of their face, it would have brought back bad memories of the time those bad men in masks knocked his window.

Exactly how i feel. He only played like, 18 games? In a couple of years ill forget he was ever a utd player.

So if Depay, Rooney and Pedro are up front how can we have two CM in, ie Schweini and Schneidy? Will Mata play behind the front three and we'd have a 2 man midfield?

Mata or Herrera will be the casualty if this move happens IMO. Will be a massive shame if it's Herrera that loses a place in this team, for me he's crucial to keep a balance to the midfield.

If we were going with that formation, Mata would either be benched as a backup RW, or sharing time with Herrera as the furthest forward in a midfield 3.

I think there's more chance he'll play Herrera in that advanced central role than Mata myself.

It doesn't make sense for me if Mata is not in the team. He's the only creative player we have left now that ADM is going!

was a funny old saga.
I always thought of him as a weasel faced dirty sneak.
then we bought him, and he had a couple of terrific games, albeit against sh!thouse teams.

then it was a slow realisation that he wasn't the team's star man that he should be for that fee, and that he gave the ball away a ridiculous amount of times.

The display away at Liverpool when he came on was like he was purposely trying to do the wrong thing with the ball every time he got it, and catching the ball in play summed it up. Bizarrely he actually got an assist with the one thing he did do right, which fuelled people's hopes he'd cut it "oh even when he's sh!T he assists" went the cries.

costing us the game with that going down too easy then manhandling the ref v Arsenal was horrible too. Ruined our great record against Arsenal, and gave the press easy Welbeck comes back to sink United headlines, even though in honesty he was toilet in that game
