Gaitan is a poor man's Di Maria. That would actually be better then the Di Maria of last season.
 
Swapping Nani for Gaitan makes no sense, that's basically exchanging the same item.

Actually, we weren't really linked with Lacazette, if you go into Le10 and reads the article it's far more about the interest from PSG and then almost "randomly" just dropped him preferring United over Liverpool in there to create buzz and get hits.
It's merely just stating what he said himself (wanting CL football if he should leave Lyon) and putting teams into that "equation".

I'd love us to be in for Lacazette, but I doubt it'll happen. A potent, quick and skilful tall striker is exactly what we need, so that's exactly why it wouldn't happen.

Hope we don't sign Gaitan, he wouldn't improve us and for the figures quoted, there's so much better out there.

I'd love Benzema here but if Real are honestly going for Aguero, I can see Benzema going the other way, if he's moving.
 
I came to see the latest on Benzema and instead find out we have an agreement for Gaitan. Normally I wouldn't be bothered about another Gaitan rumour but isn't that DiMarzio reliable?? Really hope we don't sell Di Maria, that would be madness.
 
LvG has never been great in the transfer market and it shows again. Gaitan seriously blows. I'd so much rather watch Januzaj play than him it's not even funny. Manchester United might actually line up with Gaitan/Young on the wings ...

The move depend on Di Maria(Who's constantly said that he's staying) leaving(Would of liked to seen the sales pitch United gave to Gaitan on this one). And then it also involves Nani in swap deal that would struggle to work on FIFA(Also nice to know Nani is happy to feck off to anywhere United tell him).

It's a awful story.

He's hit and miss. Earlier today he reported that Verratti had agreed a deal with Real Madrid, only for Madrid to release a statement a couple of hours later that it's bullshit.

There's still hope that the Gaitan story is bullshit aswell.

Yeah, the thing with Alves and PSG gives me hope, but it's actually how most of our transfers end up these days. Foreign papers write something, we don't believe it and a few days it starts to break somewhere. Like Falcao or Herrera.
 
I am almost sure that Nani said that the Sporting was his only home, this week.

Its complete bollocks. Nani has already come out and said he will NOT player for another team in Portugal, only Sporting
 
I'm sure this Guitan guy doesn't actually exist - I never hear any talk about him outside of transfer rumours to us. Isn't this guy just a name invented by the media to wheel out every year when they have feck all else to talk about?
 
United signing Gaitan would probably break the caf :lol:

They could of been onto something with just using the story of Di Maria leaving and Gaitan coming in . But the whole Nani stuff tips it over the edge into insane bollocks talking.
