Wtf.

Why have you singled me out. I commented way after everyone. And was just shocked at what the tweet said. Like everyone else. Don't get your panties in a bunch . feck off and go look someone else to bother. I'm sure your jumping for joy that your precious lamela , gods gift to football, will be plying his trade at your joke of a club.
It's Glaston. Spurs can do no wrong.

You said "Wow, what a hit" ... clearly implying that you took it seriously. And going by the rest of your comments it looks like you're the one getting their knickers in a twist.
*presses ignore button*
feck are you singling me out for. Go find something to do and don't bother me

That 28M£ offer can't be real.. Maybe they mistook the actual Pound offer 40M pounds and then changed the offer to Euros and then changed it back to Pounds?!

40M Euros is 28.5M pounds..

That figure is a joke!!
I think your right or the other thing could be that when LVG told the world ADM is AWOL that he got devalued for being a ass...?

wow, spurs are taking a big hit there.

Let me get this straight. You posted a tweet by Jackson, and in the same sentence proposed he be banned ?
Yes, why is that weird? He's not banned atm and is now running with a bullshit story. To be fair though, others seem to do the same, so this is not the best example. I still remember him claiming last summer that we wouldn't sign ADM, a few days before it was a reality.

Don't post the tweet if you find what he said objectionable. That will save us the hassle of discussing something that won't happen.

In this case, it might be true. Lots of other journos are running with the same story.

If it is, then why on earth would we consider banning Jackson from this thread ?

The 28m figure is probably the result of random whispers being shared by the traveling journos. Jackson, De Buin, Ogden, Mathieson, Mitten are all together with the club.

Lots of journos are running with the Keane 'remark' about Di Maria, who is 8 years old. They are all a disgrace to themselves.

Because he has a history of running with bullshit stories. He doesn't seem to hesitate when he gets the opportunity to write something negative about the club too compared to other journos. There are plenty examples from last summer. Granted, he is unlikely to write bollocks when he is traveling with the team on tour, but this is more the exception rather than the norm in his case.

This can be said of any number of journos.

How did it go from having a 45m pound bid accepted to 28. Someones lying.

Someone is most probably an idiot, they were probably told PSG's opening bid would be 40m but the they have assumed the bid is in Euros. 40m Euros works out at £28.5m.

If the fee widely reported up until now of £45m is reliable it's not far fetched to think their opening bid would be around £40m.

My feeling is United are putting this bid out there to soften the blow when we sell for what is still a big loss at £45 million. Looks like we negotiated well to get a more respectable price in the end.

Imagine the reaction if we sell Di Maria for 28.5 million pounds and buy Cavani for 85 million Euros. Woodward will never be able to get back to Old Trafford again

Exactly this. I don't dislike Otamendi either. In fact if we still had Fergie, I would consider him a brilliant successor to Vidic and a very likely perfect replacement. But buying because someone is available and there are no other options without considering how they would fit in smacks of desperation and pure muppetry.

Especially when you take into consideration the price Valencia want, I'd rather spend the money on Stones who is the type of CB we are missing our options for the style of play LvG in trying to install.

I wouldn't accept anything less than £30m.

Huh? I wouldn't even consider accepting anything less than £45m. Woody is playing hardball with Madrid on De Gea who just has a year left on his contract. What do you think he will do with Di Maria's case. My guess is he will show the middle finger to them.

Ogden hardly knows anything. He and the other journalists have been out of the loop since Moyes was fired. I doubt Ladyman knows anything about this as well.

That's why we're better off with info from foreign media.

This just isn't true. Ian Ladyman and Steve Bates are well sourced at Utd.

Jackson is a joke of a reporter, no sources at the club, or indeed anywhere. As dumb and bitter as Castles but at least he can fall back on being a Mendes mouthpiece. Ogden has no sources either.

If they're all reporting the same fee though it's either sourceless idiots leading sourceless idiots or they've been briefed by Woody for some reason that I can't quite see right now. Not sure how we'd benefit from making PSG look like lowballing idiots.
