I don't think we will be buying Otamendi, when you look at Blind played in there and the obvious wish to get Ramos, I think LvG wants a composed ball player as opposed to another bulldog, and while I agree keeping De Gea is important it would be an oversight to let our defense go into another season in it's current state.
 
I genuinely thought that was announcing De Gea had signed his renewal before I properly looked at the tweet :lol:

Yeah, i thought that was a shitty thing for LvG to come out with - especially considering our Captain & supposed best player, doesnt have patch on Neymar & Young had a better season than Rooney also..
 
According to reports, Romero had flown out to the States to meet up with squad a couple of days ago. I presume that picture was taken in the US, which is why it's being released in the early hours of the morning over here.

As @Empire said he said what kind of players we lack and what does he still needm unlike Moyes who said he needs wc players but he wasnt sure in which position and didnt believe in himself. LVG wants to compete with the best and he knows what does he need to do that.
