On another note, as good as Benzema is I'm just not convinced he's the striker we need to sign this summer. Unless we end up buying someone like Bale too to actually fashion some chances for him then it'll just be like watching a slightly more mobile, French version of RVP from last season.

Falcao just doesn't look at the races to play at the level of a Chelsea. Chelsea have a great squad, so he's worth a go, but he's never getting into their starting 11. Falcao had some performances last year that were stunningly off the pace. He looks done. Once your legs go, it would take so much time and effort to restructure your game to become a useless member of a top team. And you arent going to get that at Chelsea. They arent waiting until you find your feet.

Will be interesting, though. I'm certainly not gutted he's went there. I have no emotional connection towards him.
