Would rather ADM stayed, but if he does go for roughly the same price as he cost then that would be excellent business considering we overpaid for him in the first place.

We would still lose about 7-8m due to the Exchange rate being better/worse now for the Euro than it was last summer. But its better than what they want to offer us.

Anything close to £50m would be a solid deal. As long as it's reinvested back into a player of similar quality.

it makes much more sense than the british press to link this "surprising sign" to bale

signing pedro allows:

pedro as a natural lvg footballer
preparation if adm chooses to leave
more option to play memphis in a more central role

Almost two full pages of bullshit arguing about Rooney in here deleted.

Warnings and thread bans follow.

pedro will be the back up striker.

and the french media just like marca can get stuffed.

woodward is definitely doing something right if he's getting media hate

Striker? He's 5 foot 5

Surely, he will be competing with Mata for the right side of the front three?

after watching back the 1st half of the real madrid game vs roma, i have a different thought about our "surprise signing" however

Who?

*I think if Ronaldo had broken that record he'd be willing to leave Madrid, but he's a few goals (not sure how many) from breaking their all time record and I can't see him leaving until he does.

Pedro's clause is 150m but the new contract makes it go down to 30m if he doesn't play at least 60% of the minutes. This reduction clause should only go into effect next summer but the club agreed to apply it retroactively to this season when Pedro signed his new contract a few weeks ago.

Agree think it's just over a dozen goals. I think Ronnie will want cement his legacy at Madrid and rightly so.

Nice. 30 million euros seem quite a lot though. As a Barca fan do you reckon he might leave?

I think it's very very possible. He seemed really annoyed with the lack of minutes lately, even when celebrating his goals. He's seen how the team brought in Alexis, Neymar, Suárez, Arda, all of which can play in his position. I understand his frustration not being in the starting team, more considering he wants to go to the euro 2016.

But but I thought these guys were the money team
We're the REAL money team. Ain't nobody got time for desperate talk from Blanc. Not me and not in the slightest, Ed Woodward. We're in a position of power here. We've got massive money and we don't need to sell Di Maria as our wage budget is in the green even after signing Morgan, Bastian, Darmian and Depay. Feck PSG.
