Am I the only person who thinks someone with Berba's first touch and passing will make our attack way better. Don't get me wrong, I think he is past it but he is not afraid to try things which unlock defenses and with runners from midfield and the flanks, it would be very dangerous.
I reckon DDG would do his best and be professional. With the Euros coming up next year he's gonna want to prove he is the best keeper in the world. He could leave for free enxt year as well so he would know that its just one season so will get on with it.From a financial point of view - it would probably make more sense to turn down €25 million and keep de Gea one year as that practically guarantees us C.L the season after that. And by that - I also take for granted that DDG would do his best and be professional.

The Portuguese club's board had told its counterparts at the Santiago Bernabéu several days ago that it intended to make his loan deal permanent for €15m.
The loan deal included a clause allowing the La Liga side to block Porto's move so long as they told the Portuguese side of their intentions to buy Casemiro back for €7.5m before 5th June. That is what they did.

Same COPE "article" that suggest Man United have asked for Bale and Varane also states that Madrid responded that they're not for sale.
