In usual cases yes, however he specially states that one offer includes Rafael going in the other direction which makes it a lot believable.

We weren't really linked with Darmian either, before things suddenly exploded this week with the Di Marzio reports. It was all Fabinho/Clyne/Coleman before that, so not being linked with a player doesn't mean much. We should be in for a new striker and Lacazette is one of the few quality, viable options left on the market.
There was no suggestion of Darmian until about 4 days ago and then he was signed. Media know feck all.
I will ask woody to fax one to me.
And even then it wouldn't make sense. Why not just keep Nani then and save even more money? They were directly comparable in the same league last season and from what I've read, Nani was every bit as good, if not better.
