Even the Ramos situation, Graham Hunter made a much a big splash than anything reported by the English media.

All the English media are doing for us is making assumptions and summarizing rumors. Bild went all out for Bastian yesterday, DiMarzio's infor was as accurate as you will ever see from an ITK.

BTW is Indykalia still alive?

Amongst all this happiness with these new signings, we will soon know sadness when De Gea leaves and that time looks like it is approaching. We should play hardball, ask for at least 40m or Ramos.

Time to play hard ball, no DDG without Sergio Ramos. If they don't play ball then we keep David and lose him on a free next year by which time Madrid might have to have signed another keeper etc.

They presumably also think we're desperate for a centre back though and won't want to miss out on alternative targets like Otamendi if Ramos is a no go. Staring contest at the moment. Think we're right to keep De Gea until we get a fair offer though, which means a world record bid for a keeper.

Balotelli leaving Liverpool would complete the cycle.

Maybe, but would they have let Casillas go if they didn't have a deal in place with us already? Seems unlikely to me, but hey, who knows. I hope they've let him leave and we keep De Gea for a year and sign Ramos and also Otamendi just for the sheer fecking lols. Alas, it's more likely that De Gea leaves, Ramos signs a new contract and we sign Otamendi (not a scenario I'm overly worried by, tbh -- I'd actually welcome it in some ways as De Gea will go eventually and Otamendi is a top class player).
 
If De Gea to Madrid was done we'd know about it, they wouldn't keep that one quiet. The fact that their pet newspapers, who they do feed real info to, are still claiming we're playing hardball indicates its not all tied up yet.

I know this might sound like clutching straws but maybe they did not convince DDG to join them,so as sign of how much they want him there,they got rid of their number one GK,so he cant make troubles.
