In that sort of case it would make more sense to just keep Hernandez. The backup wouldn't play much anyway as I have a sneaking suspicion LvG wants to bring Wilson into the mix next year.

I would keep Hernandez personally but I get the impression LvG doesn't like him at all, I think Wilson has potential but frankly we'd be screwed if Rooney was out for a couple of months and he was our only back up, not to mention we should have a lot more games this season.
Perez hasnt dealt with a man like Woody before. Woody has been known to leave a meeting and never be seen for weeks on end. Tracking him down to negotiate is half the battle.
