Maybe rvp is leaving (if at all he is, Di marzio is pretty hit and miss with foreign transfers) because he wants to. It's a euro year and he expects that he will be selected if he plays regularly and score goals even in a lesser side. United need not have anyone lined up after all

So, according to Foot 365, Mendes is currently in France to negotiate Di Maria's wages with PSG. The report says that PSG want to offer Di Maria 15 million euros a year, but Mendes is pushing for 18 million. It also states that we have agreed a 60 million euros fee with them. No idea how reliable the source is, but it smells like bullshit.

As for this, I don't see it changing our asking price at all. We said from the offset we wanted 35m and won't change from that.
If they sell Casillas, we are in a better position to negotiate and we can ask more. Hell, we can temporary hire Levy and in that case he would get 50m for them.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised - despite the media rumours - that the discussion are more friendly than we think they are. In which case - as you said - the asking price won't change.

The club and the player have repeated multiple times that he won't leave. I don't think that stance has changed. Plus that fee is roughly £43m which I would never expect United to accept. We should loot psg if they want him that badly

These shitty outlets have failed to let that go. Will not happen.

We would be fools to accept 60m euro. Tha is slightly more than 40m pounds, we would be losing near 20m pounds. With his wages, it means that we payed near 30m pounds for one year of his servive. One of the worst transfers in our history.

Pretty sure, it has to be bullshit. Di Maria made it clear that he wants to stay here (or at least he said so), and United isn't a club which gives up on their players after one season (especially not on its biggest transfer ever). If PSG wants him, anything less than what we payed for him would be a poor business.

He's been training with us. If a deal had been done, he wouldn't still be training in case he picked up an injury or something.

unless we've already agreed a deal with Real and It's David who's saying he doesn't want to leave unless Casillas is out. That'd be fairly smart on his part.

I'd like to think we've got a striker lined up if we're selling RVP. There's no way LVG would let us sell RVP with only Rooney and Wilson as options unless there's something concrete.
I'm sure we have someone lined up in background already..I'd hope....Aubameyang might not be a bad shout as he might be ready for the next level and I can't see Kane or Benzema being sold by their clubs

I am a little worried. Yes we signed Memphis and Darmian but we still need DM, CB and striker if reports are true and RVP is going. Add De Gea situation to that and we need 4 new players.
Schneiderlin and Otamendi rumors have gone quiet at the moment and there is no way we are signing Ramos till monday so it looks like we will go with only 2 new signings on tour. Same crap situation as was last year...

When the person you are negotiating with puts themselves into a position of weakness/desperation then it is very likely the asking price will go up. The aim is always to get the maximum possible payout for an asset, if madrid leave themselves without a keeper and want De Gea woody will take every advantage of that.

Madrid selling casillas without knowing de gea is coming the other way tips everything in our favour. The dumbest negotiation move ever if i've seen one.

Hopefully they are eyeing other targets.

For feck's sake, looks like all my favorite players are leaving this summer. Nani left, RVP and DDG are with one foot out of the club, even Rafael seems to be leaving.
I hope Rafeal gets injured in preseason so that he has to stay and then pulls a Fellani

100M euros, or feck right off. Even with 100M euros I'd think twice about letting his quality of player leave.

I'm sure we have it all in hand, so there is really no need to worry. Woody was confident that we would have the squad to challenge on all fronts, and I'm sure he already knew who we'd be clearing out too. Patience.

Can you make Evans your new favourite in hope it's a curse you have.

I think you'll find that first condition for David to go to Madrid is for Madrid to pay what United tell them to pay. I know Real have a history with dictators but that doesn't mean that they are in control :p

Damn right sick of Madrid they can talk all of the conditions in the world with De Gea but if we don't like the price they can do one.

I think otamendi looks possibly certain to join. Plus I honestly think Schneiderlin is just a matter of time. We do have valdes who is a decent keeper and we make the defence stronger by the previous signings so ideally he should be a good option. That leaves us needing just a striker

So why post this drivel ?

So why post this drivel ?

I already explained it a couple of posts above. I wouldn't have posted it if it was on the blacklist and I don't fecking know anything about this French source. Far more ridiculous (on paper) tweets have been posted on here without people moaning about it.

Who wouldn't be a starter anyway.

Pretty disappointing RVP is leaving, considering he is LVG's "favourite" according to so many. Obviously not, as it turns out. He is still handy to have and can bang in 15 goals at least if played enough and not alongside a past it Falcao.

Those used terms like "his son" as beating stick every time when they did not agree with him being in first XI.Things collapsed when he did not put RvP straight back in team after injury(showing that his being fit rules applies for everyone),it was funny read comments after tbh.

What will is that? He has a contract and United will only sell him on their terms, not on his will or Real Madrid terms, you Madrid fans can be so arrogant.
I mean that when a player wants to leave at the end the transfer happens.Do you imagine Sterling staying?Liverpool can decide that their terms are 100 m£ but in these situations is not only the position of the club what prevails but a player not fully happy or an agent trying to get a commission keeping everybody happy. In the same way Madrid can demand 100 for Ramos but that is unrealistic if there is a clear intention to leave the club.

This guy any good?

He'd be very good for a counter attacking side like Atletico IMO. He's a very good speed dribbler.

His decision making could be improved (can be a bit greedy at times), but he's still young.
