:( ,you will get your money bastards. Great signing this Darmian, mega top RB,you want to avoid Madrid temptations in the future
After De Gea saga (especially if United get Ramos in return), I have a feeling that Madrid won't go after United players anymore. Especially considering how finances will change in the next 2 years (with United having 100m+ revenue more than Madrid).

That would be better than Real Madrid's 2009 transfer window.
Nope.

They signed back then the current Ballon D'Or winner, the most previous Ballon D'Or winner, the most promising striker in the world, one of the best central midfielders in the world and for some mysterios reasons Raul Albiol.

I don't think that in paper than transfer window can ever be topped.

Iker leaves Madrid after 25 years, done deal

RM seem to be putting themselves under pressure to DDG done very quickly now.

Just can't see United suddenly bending over for them though, so they're either slapping a world record fee in the table, giving us Ramos, or signing someone else....I really hope this is the case anyway.

Honestly I think that is done deal.Tomorrow (I think) Danilo presentation, friday farewell tribute to Iker at Bernabeu and probably later the announcement. At this point Madrid might sell Ramos but I think that 80/90 m€ are no negotiable.

What do you think the case is then? Negotiate for Ramos or offering a decent fee?

I must admit, I'm loving the way the club are handling the transfer window this year, decisive with Memphis, taking no shit from Madrid, quietly clearing the deadwood and now a nice under the radar signing from Italy, seems far more measured than last year's feck fest. Hopefully it will continue for the rest of the window.

I wasn't serious.:)

I think that is more about leaks to the press, critics to the president. If everything is so calm would be weird.Madrid will offer him 8,if he doesnt accept he should go publicly and then surely he would be sold(if he wants that). It's all about money but he won't leave for 50/55,that is a very poor offer(for the public opinion)considering that Madrid paid 38 for Illarramendi

It'd only be a done deal at a £35 m + then, and I can't see you guys paying it.

To me this is a quite a pivotal moment for United, for weeks now we have heard that we will only sell DDG for a WR fee, or swap with Ramos, if not he stays, if we back down from this we will look weak, and RM will look like they have bullied United, going forward this would be bad news image wise for United.

if I was a betting man, (which I am) then DDG will be on the United tour this time next week.

That would be an incredibly dumb move considering you're nowhere near giving us what we want for De Gea.

If Casillas is gone, then the De Gea move is done. Madrid wouldn't have let them him go otherwise.

If he stays you would be keeping a player against his will in his last year, for me is difficult to believe that(Cristiano situation was different in my opinion)

As @Orc said,no chance, even for 50.If we lose Ramos and Isco I think that I'd need a bottle of oxygen
To be fair though, if I were him I'd probably at least consider a move away. When your team is fully fit Isco isn't in the first XI is he?

You'd be doing similar with Ramos (apparently), because United will never pay that much for him.

I'm probably wrong, and it'll probably come back to bite me, but I believe we will keep DDG if RM don't give us the right deal.

Behave! £227k per week for Gyan? I think the Chinese need to wake up and realise what they are truly paying for here.

Won't be that bad - considering he will break his contract and leave after 3 months

If Madrid was not a political club then he could have been sold but the club has a very big component of patriotism. They need a spanish symbol:Hierro,Raul,Iker,Ramos...and is obvious who is the next

If De Gea is gone then there's a big chance that there has been progress in the Ramos to United transfer as well.
Widely reported that United said raise your De Gea bid and we'll raise ours. If we were to follow that through...
Ramos is on holiday, I guarentee that if United are after him, there will be a promise to get this sorted by the time he comes back.

So remember these posts and we will see in some days who was right :D. My bet is De Gea coming

Agreed, I think we are prepared to keep DDG unless our conditions are met. I also think we will make one final mega offer for Ramos that will make Madrid seriously think about selling him.

He doesnt have that.
In the agreement with Madrid is signed (according to el Confidencial) that Madrid will have to pay 10m€ to de Gea if he is not signing this year or the next.If he doesn't have the will then why didn't he renew?

No, he is not. No idea why some people said so, and then it became a joke to say so. But he is not.

Never heard that he is half-American though.

You are correct. It has been circulated that his parents are Armenian - but that is not correct. His father is called Giovanni - hardly a typical Armenian name. Even FIFA has reported incorrectly the Armenian connection

That type of clause is not legally binding. There's no way to implement it. Madrid tried a similar tactic with Figo. He said he changed his mind at the last minute to snub Madrid, but Madrid said they had the power to sue him and jail his agent if he turned back now.
Figo later found out this was legal nonsense.
Just shows what nonsense tabloids come out with.

De Gea can be your Spanish symbol.

Sell us Isco! :wenger:

Ah yes I haven't denied that, but in what deal?
Do you mean the conditions of the deal?I think that is coming this summer,Madrid paying 40m€(clubs have good relationship and I don't see Madrid fighting for 5m€).I can't imagine a swap Sergio=David +money.I think that would be 2 totally different transfer.I still have my doubts about Ramos.

I think that may be why we heard noise of a huge offer for Bale. We don't want to lose Dave, look like we're getting bullied and also get nothing off Madrid.

It won't look bad for our clubs posture on the other hand if we were to get a big chunk of change for Dave or get a huge name in at the same time.

Ah ok,thanks for saying,I didn't know that was illegal
