Now refuse to sell DDG at all costs, unless they make an absurd offer.

With Casillas leaving, it strengthens our position. They have only Navas now and will be desperate to sign a keeper. So they can either pay us shit loads for DDG or feck off and look for another keeper.

It doesn't work like that, if they are selling casillas then they are already certain that De Gea is joining and have probably agreed a deal with The club and player.

Risk management 101.The risk here being starting the season with no no.1 keeper.

Well by that theory we must already have a replacement lined up too (although I believe that'll be Valdes).

Well, Woody can say to Perez that he was joking and De Gea will stay at United unless they offer Ramos/40m. Ta-ra.

Perez then risks losing face (plus having Navas as his main keeper) or pay the price.

Uh huh, LVG said that he wouldn't of signed valdes if he didn't think he could be no.1

I think having valdes strengthened our hand as we could afford to drag things out longer knowing we had him as back up. Selling casillas without assurances from the club that we'll sell them De Gea would be a very risky move from madrid.

That's why I think they've already agreed a deal for De Gea.

Of course they have, months ago imo.

Navas is injured right ?

That would be a hilarious scenario but i doubt madrid are that stupid to sell casillas and not have a replacement already lined up. They would be seriously exposing a massive wound for us to exploit.

We can always break the gentleman agreement, right (it isn't that we need to have good relations with those motherfeckers)? Or demand Ramos or no deal, something that we apparently have been insisting all along.

Forgot that Navas is injured. 50m or no deal, I say.

It would be more than a gentlemen's agreement becuase having just that would still expose a shit ton of risk and give us pretty much full control in negotations. Especially considering now that navas is infact injured, selling casillas would leave them without a 1st team keeper. That's bucket loads of risks, however it would be fecking hilarious.

If you want De Gea to stay then pray that this porto deal is a rumor mill shambles.

He probably is off but not speaking to some bothersome plonker at Wimbledon is hardly the surefire evidence.

Most likely he doesn't know it yet. It is clear that he wants to leave, Madrid wants him cheap, United doesn't like the idea.

Of course that he won't respond to every random person who'll ask him.

Behave! £227k per week for Gyan? I think the Chinese need to wake up and realise what they are truly paying for here.

Normally don't like players going to poor footballing countries for money but really can't blame this lad. He's rubbish and making 227k a week? Absolutely bizarre and fair play to him.
