Just out of interest, how do you lot think Van Gaal would play if there was a swap deal involving Di Maria and Muller. I Assume LvG will want to play a 4-3-3 of some kind. If Muller were to come in surely that would be the end of Rooney as I cant see either playing wide. Else go to 4-2-3-1 with one behind the other, giving Mata the death sentence instead?

As much as I'm enjoying how unfortunate this all is for Liverpool, I wouldn't touch the little fecker with a stick after his antics this summer.
Anyone looking at spending £35million+ on him would want to be asking serious questions about his attitude.

Didn't Berba do a similar thing at Spurs to force his move to us?

It would be the death of Mata as Muller would most likely play at 10 in a 4231, but it's never going to happen so not much point in discussing.

Err didn't Schneiderlin jist do this the other day?
Nobody seemed to think that was incredibly unprofessional

Did he? I was away that summer and remember being surprised to learn about the Berba signing way after it happened. Don't recall hearing anything like that.

Muller and Rooney in attack, Mata/Depay in wings.

Muller and Rooney are both very hardworking players so the midfield won't get overruned.

Alternately, Mata and Muller can swap positions.

He has trained with the Saints and is on tour with them, not really that unprofessional. He's most likely leaving so maybe he got the day off or actually was sick?

Rojo on the other hand did strike to force a move to us and some loved him for it.

If true is amazing how clueless the media have been. Linking us all the time with Clyne, Coleman and Fabinho while we were negotiating all this time with Darmian.

But someone got it right, as few weeks, or even months ago someone wrote that we are not going after Clyne, as LVG doesn't rate him. After that they have started guessing.

Tbf Veron did call him and told him stop being stupid and Rojo listened to him. Someone needs to have a word with Sterling.

I remember Jan as a player, he was ok, but far better when you bought him on Football Manager. I've seen a fair few of his tweets now and am wondering, Is he now a sports journalist? Or is he just an ex Swindon Town player that likes to appear ITK to keep himself semi relevant?
I remember one time after a match me and my mates thought it was funny singing "are you Klinsman is disguise" to him (Obviously not for the footballing skill but the diving), he didn't see the funny side and got hold of my mate and was ready to punch only to get hold back by a few older guys who spotted my mate crapping his pants.

Good ol days...

Done dealio!

We are following the transfers in ladies football now aswell ?

Sky sports Breaking news:

The special U15 department of the swedisch divion 8 club Ikea fc has signed the 12 year old Mättheus ulvarsong who suffers from down syndrom as their new goalkeeper.

More to be followed...

Have you read the article?

"close to signing"
"hope to sign"
"The Premier League club are not commenting on reports"
"negotiations are at an advanced stage."

It also states that we paid £31M for Memphis as well as various other Daily Mail style rumours.

Poor show from the BBC there.

What do you expect them to say before official confirmation...

Well if Liverpool wasn't being so greedy they wouldn't be worrying about his attitude right now.
