Transfer Tweets - Summer 2015 | Stop Spamming - Discussion Should Relate to Tweets

I remember Jan as a player, he was ok, but far better when you bought him on Football Manager. I've seen a fair few of his tweets now and am wondering, Is he now a sports journalist? Or is he just an ex Swindon Town player that likes to appear ITK to keep himself semi relevant?

I would take a Muller-Di Maria swap. Or even Di Maria + 10m for Muller.

They won't give us Muller though, so as you say, they can feck off. We don't need money, we need world class players.

I don't understand this. Why would we swap these two players? The simple fact that Bayern want di Maria should be enough to not let him go.

If he has we should be all over that. But then again, good luck in convincing a young, ambitious footballer coming off a superb season to sit on the bench because Rooney is always going to play and we aren't playing with two strikers.

Ideally, he stays another season at Lyon and we can re-evaluate Rooney at the end of the season.

Not bad for a small club who can't compete for trophies and is way below Madrid, Barca and Bayern when it comes to transfer market.

Though I'm pretty sure you'll now hear how Bayern were never interested in him.

Quit moaning about Smalling.

If Van Gaal gets two centre backs, I'd be delighted. Not whining about Smalling. Smalling has had 5 years to cement a place here. I'm still not sure about him and Jones injury wise.

No one is moaning. We're speculating, birnging in 3 CB's (plus a utlilty player who can play in that position) in two years makes little sense. Smalling and Jones were both offered new contracts implying they are wanted at the club. we already have rojo, jones and mcnair on the bench by signing 1 more centre back.

what 4 months?
A bit long but it would make sense, we suddenly dropped interest in clyne out of no where and alves didn't work out. Darmain was probably a back up plan.

He's a pretty versatile forward, if the rumours are to be believed that RvP is following Falcao out the door there'd be plenty of games to satisfy his needs and he'd be first choice for a number of years after Rooney steps down.

Pundit on SKY Germany, so probably has loads of contacts for Bundesliga business.

Cause IMO, Muller is a better player and Van Gaal loves him.

If they want Di Maria then they should give us an equally good/better player in return. Otherwise, there is no point on us selling him. Not that I would like us to sell Di Maria (I really like him) but I rate Muller higher and I think that we would need him more than Di Maria.

Anyway, considering how much Bayern appareciate Muller, there is no way that they are going to sell him. And so in return, we should not let Di Maria go.

Apparently he put in a transfer request.

I really don't think that Liverpool will get him unless he is their fan or something. Since the firmino signing most of their fans are deluding themselves that for some reason they have got back in the mix as a top team among United arsenal and all. I saw a lot of posters say stuff like 'if this was ayre negotiating Ramos would have signed for United by now' and 'we should just buy Schneiderlin and buy every one of United targets'. Lacazette is probably gonna attract huge interest from lots of big teams (I don't mean offence to any pool fans here. Just some ones on Twitter )

He is an assistant for the Norwegian national team, a Sky Germany pundit and an ITK Twitter guy.

We should be all over this. No point bringing in a world class striker on a massive wage to make him compete with the captain. Let lacazette rotate and play lesser games until the time to phase him in comes.

Not so much a wise tactic as simply the way all clubs in world football respond to enquiries about their players.

The latter.

Do we really need 50 tweets an hour on Darmian saying the same thing?

Its essentially a done deal as it is. But limit the god damn tweets.

Thank you

No way lyon sells for that cheap also, they have champions league this year + wealthy ownership.

However rooney did mention he wants kane...

I don't see how he will be benched. We should be ideally having about 50 games in all comps and right now it looks likely we have Rooney and Wilson as our main strikers. We once managed to keep Yorke Cole sheringham and ole in the same team

Liverpool have no chance if we're interested. With Falcao off and RvP likely to go, we will be all over him.

Take into account Lacazette can play anywhere across the front 3 as well..

It's reached a situation when a president of a midtable club is disputing you. Perez is in a huge pile of shit now I reckon

This.

There's too much totally irrelevant spam going on. I know we allow discussion in here now but that doesn't mean it's a random chat thread.

Keep it transfer tweet related please people.

Totally disrespectful if true.

As much as I'm enjoying how unfortunate this all is for Liverpool, I wouldn't touch the little fecker with a stick after his antics this summer.
Anyone looking at spending £35million+ on him would want to be asking serious questions about his attitude.

You'd have to think Schneiderlin is in the bag for us to have focused on Darmian this week. Especially so considering that the No.6 was LVG's highest priority. Hope he gets signed up in time for the tour. And we can then focus on the big red letter purchases of a striker &/or goalkeeper from then on until the close of the transfer window.
