Transfer Tweets - Summer 2015 | Stop Spamming - Discussion Should Relate to Tweets

El partido de las 12 wrote some tweets: Casillas talked to Lopetegui, he likes the city, the team and the project. He would go for free. Porto is willing to pay 1/3 of the wages that he has now (around 2.5 m€ after tax), Madrid would pay another 1/3. The club asked Casillas to quit the other 1/3 but he doesn´t want (at the end Madrid will probably pay it). The agreement would be 2 years + 1 more optional. Iker´s idea is to travel with the team to Australia for the pre season. They also say that Madrid likes Garay () and Mustafi if Ramos leaves.
They say that Iker´s decision is not going to accelerate de Gea´s transfer. If he does not come this summer, they are thinking about Kiko Casilla (Espanyol)

So they are ready to pay him about 10mil a year (before tax) to play somewhere else, but are not ready to up their offer for de Gea (the same amount)?

Some absolute crybabies in here. I wonder how you get on with your daily lives, with so much negativity in your heads.

It's mental

If a journalist tweets we're close to getting Ramos, everyone says it's bullshit and the journo is a hack.

If the same journo tweets we're going to sell De Gea for £1m and we're not getting Ramos, everyone takes it as gospel and we have people in tears. It's like some people enjoy moaning.

To sign David the first step is to get rid of Casillas, but is not so simple. Fire him with a compensation is not an option, but sounds weird, you are right

I understand that, but from "our" point of view it is just another reason to ask for more money (I am not sure about world record fee, but sure more than 25mil euros).

Btw. I believe that on of problems is pound/euro exchange rate and that Real would pay more in pounds if the currencies would closer to each other.

Exactly. *sigh*

Wonder if it's exclusive to the caf, or its just a general state of affairs everywhere.

Very weird to see Ronaldo and Ramos on the far right/left.

Like they making a "future safe" ad. Because if they leave, you can just cut them out while not ruining the foto at all.

Why the hell would you put Ronaldo there, ramos ok, but Ronaldo?

If you want to piss of Ronaldo, then put Bale in the center and him in the back corner.

Bale has a big sponsorship deal with Adidas, Ronaldo has one with their biggest competitor. Ronaldo cant not be there because he's the biggest name at Real, but Adidas don't want him taking the focus either. Nothing more to it.

Yes, the exchange rate is going to be a problem, an advantage for british clubs.
I don´t understand that obsession by the World record fee, Madrid is not negotiating for Neuer. I believe that neither the board nor the fans want to pay so much, although I think that will be more than 25

It is advantage for British clubs, but not when they sell, it's actually a problem.

World record fee is probably mentioned just to make a point how much we value him, while Real (you :D) wants the player, is ready to sell/give away their captain, but is not ready to pay what we ask for de Gea, actually the problem is more that Real isn't ready to pay even close to what we ask (again, I think that the exchange rate is the biggest problem here - when we bought de Gea 30mil euros was about 28-29mio pounds and we would probably accept it, or Real would pay us 1-2mil more, shouldn't be a problem, while now it's about 21-22mio so it's a big difference).

This whole "if a journalist tweets negative it's true; if he tweets something positive its rubbish' crap is getting as annoying as the complainers now. The same argument gets brought up every single time.

Complain about non-transfers. Complain about people who complain about non-transfers.

Just keeps going round and round.

According to the media we went from Clyne to Coleman to Darmian. Anyone seen him play enough to say if he's not overhyped a bit?

By the looks of things, we started the summer going after Dani Alves, but he just used us for a new contract and we were left looking at alternatives as i dont think we expected to miss out on Alves. Clyne, Coleman, Van der Wiel all seem mediocre options to me, surely not a huge improvement of Rafael??

Even if he is overhyped it is similar with Clyne and Coleman (doesn't mean they are not good), so we probably think he is better than Clyne, or at least on the same level and are ready to pay a bit more (but probably give lower wages), while Coleman would just be to expensive.

Our rightback search has been laughable in all honesty
Only if you believe every rumour.
In regards to Coleman, I live close to where He grew up in Ireland and he's told his mates that he won't leave Everton since he believes he would still be playing in Ireland if it weren't for them.
Take that as you wish, but his mates are staunch United fans and were badgering him to move.
Seems Coleman rebuffed us, this lad seems to be a decent alternative though
I'm not claiming to be an ITK, just an advantage of living in a small area of Ireland lol

Just doesn't seem focused. I believe our interest in Clyne was real, then we inexplicably dropped our interest and now we're apparently looking at Coleman and Darmian.
Both are better than Clyne.

It's basically for the club to say that we were not bullied into the sale by Real Madrid, but that they had to pay a world record fee (or close to that) If we had managed to get someone like Benzema, Bale or even Varane out of it, then it would have been easier to digest. People still say that we should have gotten a couple of players off Madrid when we sold Ronaldo. Honestly, we should have got at least one of Robben, Schneider or Van Der Vaart at least.

Well hopefully the Darmian stuff is true and we pull off the deal and get our RB position sorted. Next up or CB and midfield positions.

If true he's the type of person you want at a club. Good to see this attitude.

Nothing new there. Di Marzio works for Sky Italia, so the last few tweets on Darmian all come from the same source.

I would be chuffed if we would get Darmian. Coleman and him were my favourites for that position from the moment the season finished. Getting linked with Clyne was underwhelming. Happy to see that we go for Darmian.

It is a state of self defence the club really hasn't been kind to us in the last couple of years regarding transfers. More summers than not we are left disappointed and fuming at the clubs incompetence to bring in the required players. People are not going to forget that Moyes summer very soon.

Fact is we were promised signings by Woodward and LVG and we were promised they would get them early so far nothing but Depay has happened and everybody knows DDG will leave and signings like Ramos etc almost never ever happen for us. So naturally people are impatient. They want to see things sorted before that crazy month of august starts, they want the situation with DDG sorted (staying or going) and if he is going they don't want to be lowballed with a riduclous low offer. People are worried the club is fecking about these things like they have done so numerous times in the past and that creates anxiety. If you can't understand that you are lacking empathy.
