Twitter/SSN are just awash with purile dross to navigate traffic to websites. Just seen an Express article for instance with the headline 'Clyne: Why i rejected Utd for Liverpool' - you go to the article and all he does is explain why he went to Pool- he does not mention Utd at all. But just by association to our name it creates traffic.
Just do a search for mufc and it brings up bs after bs regarding our targets.
SSN and the English press do not have the foggiest about our deals or who we are interested in- its a circle of the press hint at Utd being interested in someone- sky bet open a market - people bet on it- odds narrow- Sky report 'sources' claiming Utd are interested in said player.
Myself like the next bloke wants the latest news and would love to know whats going on behind the scenes but transfers dont work like that and never will- Utd are not just sat around waiting for everyone else to sign players- they will be doing deals- trying to sign some of the worlds best and then back up options if that fails whilst trying to keep it as secret as possible- nothing more or less- you just have to look at how we handled Depay to see that- he was ours- then Liverpool's - then PSG was nailed and then boom- we signed him. That deal along with last summers signings prove to me that Ed does know what he is doing- yes Di Maria was slightly overpriced and Falcao did not work out- but we got Shaw, Blind, Rojo and Herrera all done with relative calm so why should the same not apply this summer?
Have patience people first of all in Van Gaal and his scouts regarding who we have targeted and possible backups, then in getting rid of deadwood and then finally in Ed getting these deals over the line.
It will be worth it in the end. The days of dithering Davey Moyes are over.
