Transfer Tweets - Summer 2015 | Stop Spamming - Discussion Should Relate to Tweets

ESPN have had articles about their sources understanding alot of United related things in the past (last season we weren't done on deadline day with just Falcao according to their sources), with Miguel DeLooney claiming alot of United transfer related news as facts and they've never come true.

It is still very much ON.
This.

Better off waiting for somebody like Sid Lowe to report that news. I still think there's a good chance of Ramos joining us this summer.

So lads would you consider ramos, schneiderlin, schweiny, bacca and depay a very good summer ?

Edit: and that rb from monaco.

So basically an article based on yesterday's stuff in the Spanish media with a different take (the spanish were saying "too late", MEN, the worst source for United news nowadays, decide it's over).

Would be devastated with Bacca.

I'd consider Ramos, Schneiderlin and Depay a very good summer. Not that interested in the other two, but if we sign those three and one more (attacking midfielder, winger or striker), that would be perfect.

I know i may be alone here, but i really think we need a rb.

You're not alone, most people on here think so. I'm one of the few who thinks Valencia did a perfectly fine job this season. I would have liked to sign Dani Alves on a free but since that's no longer an option, I don't think we should throw 15-20 million after a new RB.

Think we could do with oatemendi too. If were going to challenge on all fronts we need at least 4 decent centre backs with our injury problems there! I don't rate Rojo very highly so it would be Ramos or Hummel's partnering Oatemendi and Smalling and Jones as the back up ball playing and hardman centre halves. Not too fussed on Bacca. Would love the two sch's in mid!

Huh? He looks huge here, what has happened?

Well, he has always been like that.

Why we will be?

For showing interest in a player during the transfer window. Yeah how embarrassing.
Not knowing when you're being used to get someone a new contract ? Especially after a very similar thing happened with Alves ?

Yeah kinda embarrassing tbh

Seriously wouldnt mind it if we pass on Ramos. I still think it's just us messing with Real by taking advantage of Ramos' discontent. He'll sign a new contract with them and I think our main target remains Otamendi, we're just trying to get his price down and we will buy him before the window closes. And of course Real will end up getting DDG for about £25mill.

Hopefully we sign other players meanwhile instead of focusing all our energy on Madrid and Ramos

We definitely need at least one RB. Alves would have been decent and it looks like we aren't after Clyne.. are we actually after one??

I think we could solve it by just sticking with Valencia and keeping Rafael. But the latter looks unlikely. On the other hand, as you say, there aren't many rumours. Fabinho from Monaco is the only one at the moment.

I hardly think we're that naïve. Jesus Christ the hysteria about stuff in here is laughable at times. However we will live all this down.....

Newsflash - this is kind of how football transfers work (especially between the top clubs). You enquire about a player (offering them a lot more money), then that player goes to his club and gives them a chance to match it. Where is the embarrassment?

The only people that come out of this worse of are Madrid if they end up paying him a lot more money than they wanted to.

Luke Shaw has favored a tweet explaining that Tottenham and Arsenal are no longer interested in Schneiderlin.

Also that's the first time in my life I've spelled Schneiderlin's name correctly without Google's help.

By embarrassing I mean my lads will rip me in the pub becuase i was fool enogh to think he actually wants to join UTD, and we would have wasted some time. I'm not been hysterical at all but surely you can't blame a man for thinking a player like Ramos would bluff to get a higher contract ? Also, that's not how transfers work btw, players don't always give their previous club a chance to match offers if they want to leave.

Hence players pretending to want to leave until they get a shiny new contract, if a player truly wants to leave no amount of money will make them stay aka De Gea.

What like Rooney(who actually handed in a transfer request) ?

Aah so the embarrassment is you getting ripped down the pub by your mates. I feel your pain. Maybe just don't go out for a few weeks. Christ, how do you cope when we lose an actual game of football.

Yeah you're acting like I've gone into complete meltdown and posted paragraphs of hysteria. It was a comment made in Jest.
