Since I was in the newbie forum I have maintained that de Gea will play here , I'm sure 95% but certainly did not expect the club had to pay so much . The transfer market has just begun. I imagine that de Gea will not come to the tour of Australia but I hope it is resolved soon . Also, I guess the United will start training before so that complicates things

Well Perez has to save face somehow, he's the reason Ramos wants to leave. Ramos is hugely popular with the Madrid fans. So even if he wants rid of Ramos himself, he's not going to upset fans and have that used a leverage when the campaigning for presidential elections start in 2016.
Despite all the excitement and IF any of it is true, my guess is that Ramos will be talked round from leaving RM. He's been there all his career (since the age of 13?), so I am sure they will work out their differences.
He left Sevilla at age 19 for RM, he already had made his debut in the league by then. Still, I have my doubts about him leaving aswell.
Remember him being linked a lot to us before he joined Real.
Ramos is basically using us like Alves did to gain a new contract at Barcelona.
