We should hijack the Clyne deal IMO. Would be a good signing. Monaco will want a lot of money for Fabinho. When Clyne is just as good
Isn't that the coach's fault then? I wouldn't blame my players for losing the dressing room. The thing is according to reliable journos, the locker room was divided between the pros and anti Mourinho, and apparently at some point half of the team wasn't talking with the other. Mourinho had to go because of that, it wasn't because Perez wanted to get rid of him.

Why would anyone want Otamendi over Ramos? Ramos is easily the better player and the age difference ain't that big.
12m after the tax (if true) is nuts though.
I presume it's the overall cost of the transfer. Ramos would probably cost £85-90m (based on around £35-40m + 200k a week) over 5 years, Otamendi would probably cost £55-60m (based on around £32m and 100k a week).
It would be closer to 70m, 35m for the transfer and 7m per year.
For Ramos or Otamendi?
How the hell have they got Clyne for £12.5m? I know they've already signed him replacement, but if that was us they'd still probably be demanding £25m!
Clyne for £12.5 million is an absolute bargain.

Otamendi
Diego and Jose have very similar footballing philosophies.
I would take griezmann and koke in a heart beat, think any prem team would.

He is a 24 soon to be 25 year old RB in his final year. How many of those do you see go for big amounts?.
Liverpool are paying just about the right amount for him.
Don't know about El Chiringuito but Marca said so just now.accounts all over twitter are saying that El Chiringuito have reported that madrid rejected the 32million bid and that ramos is waiting for Perez to contact him.
Can't find the actual source though.
He is a journalist from El Pais who tend to be reliable.is Diego Torres solidly ITK?
He found it easy enough to hear about Jose breaking down in tears when he didn't get the United job, so I'd imagine this sort of thing would be a piece of piss for him.is Diego Torres solidly ITK?
I don't think he'd be earning more than £100k a week. Our defenders are all on between £60-100k a week and he isn't exactly a world class name like Ramos. I also imagine he's on peanuts comparatively at the moment and would probably have to forego some of his salary to compensate for the prohibitively high release clause.
Agree with the most part, but that certainly isn't testament to any players ability these past few years.Erm, not sure what his age has to do with anything...didn't we sign RVP for £24 million who was older and had a year left too?
Clyne is a talented player and an England international - £12.5 million is a bargain no matter how you look at it. We should be in for him.
If Jones is offered a 80k, Otamendi will earn a lot more. And the fact that Madrid and City are interested in him makes it even more plausible.
It's still an advantage with the HG rules.Agree with the most part, but that certainly isn't testament to any players ability these past few years.
