To be fair, when was the last time we had a defender who *didn't* make some mind boggling decisions, etc. I'm including Rio, Vidic, Pat. At the very least he's better than any defender we have currently.
If he can recapture his form we'll have one hell of a player on hand. I'd like to give him the benefit of doubt of another season considering he's a proven class player who's been playing at top level for many years.
