Howard Nurse with his deal with it profile pic lol.
I can see that being posted every time one of his transfer rumours come to fruition

Woodward: "OK, so you won't give us Bale, Benzema, Varane.....come on, throw me a bone here, I'm gonna get slaughtered by our fans for selling big Dave.....OK, what about Ramos?"

Perez: "Still no"

Woodward (laughing like a teenage girl): "OK, we'll take Ronaldo then! Take it or leave it!"

Perez: "OK deal"

Just no.

Anyone who had two legs, and could play in midfield, was a muppet dream at that time.

"Two legs"!!!

That was back when we had standards. Last year the muppet dreams were Vidal and Strootman who had around 2.5 working legs between them!

Sky: The Petr Cech to Arsenal move is close. Our information is that only a fee needs to be agreed with Chelsea.

Ramos huh  Can't see it happening, although it would be a great signing.

At this point I would still try and sign Otamendi. Look at offloading Evans. Jones and Rojo have some versatility, so still have value.
I mean, losing De Gea is big, but strengthening the defence would easily ease the void of having somebody like De Gea between the sticks

If David De Gea leaves #MUFC this summer, Valdes will be promoted to starting goalkeeper and Lindegaard will stay as backup [EB.dk]
LVG feels he's got the goalkeeper position covered with those two and wants to spend the transfer budget elsewhere [EB.dk]
If he becomes backup goalkeeper, it's possible that Anders Lindegaard will renew his contract with #MUFC, current one expires i 2016 [EB.dk]

That would be risky to put your trust in a keeper who has had a serious injury and virtually no epl experience.

It'd be better to give Valdes a chance than sign an average keeper like Cillessen.

Well we can ignore all that seeing as LVG has already openly stated that Lindegaard doesn't fit his profile and can go.

Great news. I was hoping this would be the case. Valdes is a worthy replacement, and maybe not as good as De Gea he will be fine until a decent replacement becomes available. Lindegaard is a good back up too.

Hoping this is the week where we announce some deals done..

Although the transfer window is not open till July 1st for international transfers, I would love to see us get a move on whoever is pur RB, CB and No.6 targets..

We should get these three done before our pre season work out starts.. These 3 are crucial positions and I want that back 4 settled and fine tuned before season starts..

Maybe the papers got no clue who our targets are, but I am slightly getting worried every passing day with no news on our signings..

Since we already announced Memphis, this won't be as bad a summer as 2 seasons prior..

We must have some other RB in mind and Clyne is not our target, for surely we would have wrapped it up if he was our No. 1 RB target?! Honestly got no clue who we are going for at RB, but I know we can't go another season with Valencia as 1st choice..

It is going to be alright.. Woody and LvG has got this!! Right guys?? :nervous:

The Dutch coach, when asked about the future of Lindegaard, responded: “I think that he [Victor Valdes] fits more in the profile that I have of a goalkeeper and that’s it.”.

Nonsense article, Lindegaard will leave. Van Gaal won't settle for a 2nd keeper who he doesn't like.

If we don't sign a keeper I think he'll stay (Lindegaard). We released Amos and Johnstone is going back to PNE on loan, would leave us with just Valdes.

If de Gea leaves we will sign a keeper, no doubts about that.

It's been a boring month so far, but I wouldn't worry about it just yet. It's safe to say that we won't get all of our new players until pre-season starts, but I'm still fairly confident that we'll get at least two new signings before we leave for the US.

The RB issue is an interesting one. Apparently we've dropped our interest in Clyne and it doesn't look like we're after Darmian, so with the exception of Fabinho I don't really know who we might get in the end. Panic buying/over-paying for Clyne in late August is not unimaginable.

Who the hell is this 'Martin'?

Do you follow every single account on twitter?

It's a friend of mine whom i used to play football with, was the only one who i saw that'd translated the article, so just took the tweets from him.

And before someone goes on the rant that "everything shouldn't be posted, and we have to be critical about what we post".
The article was made by a danish journo who're usually very well connected when it comes to stories about danes playing overseas, especially players managed by Michael Stensgaard

Why?

LVG has already come out and basically said he doesn't rate him, and he can go. There's no way he'll suddenly promote him back to #2.

You don't seem to grasp the simple instructions in the OP.

Stop posting shit from randomers. It's really simple.

"Shit from randomers" = Locals who're translating article from usually reliable sources in their native language to english, to make it understandable for those who doesn't speak said language?
It's not like he's trying to come across as an ITK pushing information as if it's his own, is it?

This isn't the thread for posting tweets from your mates or links to articles from websites.

This isn't the first time (or even close) you've been asked to think more careful about the stuff your posting.

We're looking for tweets from journalists and reputable sources directly. Nothing else.

Could Ramos be the RB option? I would be much more interested in him at RB if we were still getting Otamendi in as well.

Ramos Smalling Otamendi Blind/Shaw

That's not a bad lineup at all. Ramos offers good cover at CB when needed and is hardly a poor option at fullback, having starter and won European and World Cup finals at RB!

I think I'd prefer a proper little right back instead. If were going to try and nick one of Real's players in the Dave deal, I think we should go for Carvajal. It's much more realistic than Benzema, Bale or Ramos, too.

I don't think Ramos would be keen on playing as a right back, regardless of his history playing there. He's a much better rightback than Jones/Smalling/MacNair, but the last thing we need is another CB converted into RB.

If Ramos leaves, I'd expect Real Madrid to replace him with Otamendi.

No chance of us signing a top CB for mega bucks and then shifting him into a position where he isn't as good.

There's a lot of smoke around this story today but it would make much more sense for us to be going for Otamendi (a player who wants to leave) and Carvajal (now 2nd choice behind a 31.5million euro fullback) than Ramos.
As good as Ramos is I'd probably feel a lot safer with those two at the back rather than the Spaniard.
