I just saw a tweet about Joe Gomez or whoever having a medical for Liverpool tomorrow and it seemed to take great pride in saying they beat competition from City, Arsenal and Dortmund. Maybe tell me about the player, not the clubs you apparently have beaten to his signature.

We all know it's highly unlikely, but the mere suggestion makes people click on the link, rather than the news of Clyne joining Liverpool. Butt hurt may be more apt than pissed

Their transfer business is overhyped. Khedira, Mandzukic and a risky £25 million on a (current) one season wonder that scored 13 league goals.
If that were our business so far this place would be going mental. Juventus operate in a different market to us, and their comfortable position at domestic level can afford them to take a few punts here and there.

Its good business tbh, when you consider their team already, not spectacular but Khedira on a free and Mandzukic for 18m euros is very good. Dybala I liken to the Depay deal, hot young talent.
Same can be said for over 50% of other accts linked on this thread. This one was funny at least.
It's good business for them given their finances and the market the work in. For United, not so much. Like I said, we need better players than both Khedira and Mandzukic and if we had signed the pair of them so far this summer then this place would in uproar.
