Why are we only hopeful we can get a deal done in the next 2 weeks?
Personal terms are already agreed and we’re not a million miles away on valuation.
Strange update
Can Gallagher do what Lingard did for West Ham? Swings and RoundaboutsSure. But not so sure he can do for West Ham what Gallagher did for Palace. At least, it's debatable.
What unrest "holder of the name I wanted"?It's a brief obviously, calm fans unrest after last night.
From this window's activity it's clear the club's trying to maintain discipline in transfer fees. Sure we could easily throw in another £10m and get it done a week sooner, or negotiators could find the sweet spot price over a slightly longer but not harmful duration, and it pays off in saving a few million now and many millions in future windows. Let's be patient! Why are we only hopeful we can get a deal done in the next 2 weeks?

When we got to this stage with Mount and Onana, it was as good as done. Let's hope the same is true here.
Selling Fred, who helped turn the game versus Barcelona last season for less than 20m would be utterly insane. Very handy squad player.

With K Mainoo maybe out for 8-12 weeks we will not let Mctominay, DVB and Fred go my guess it’s 2 from 3 and Mctominay is liked by ETH so I’m guessing the other 2 will go for £25-30m combined.Maybe. My point was really just that it's not obvious that McTominay should have a higher valuation than Gallagher.
It will depend if wet spam bid anywhere near the £40m McT will be gone like shyt off a shovelWith K Mainoo maybe out for 8-12 weeks we will not let Mctominay, DVB and Fred go my guess it’s 2 from 3 and Mctominay is liked by ETH so I’m guessing the other 2 will go for £25-30m combined.
Because its got to be signed off by Joel Glazer

The striker, who has a contractual agreement with MU as reported by the English press, intends to honour his deal. If MU come to an agreement with Atalanta, the striker will sign there. As far as PSG are concerned, they can only hope that MU don't succeed.
I’ve never actually seen Hojlund play much. But are we pinning all our hopes on a striker who scored 9 league goals last season?
All of our hopes? No. Some of our hopes? Yes.I’ve never actually seen Hojlund play much. But are we pinning all our hopes on a striker who scored 9 league goals last season?
I think we hope he brings goals but also helps bring others into more threatening areas and bring us more goals that way too.I’ve never actually seen Hojlund play much. But are we pinning all our hopes on a striker who scored 9 league goals last season?
Tin Hat CAF strikes again!I’m starting to think this might be a smoke screen for Harry Kane, we’ll see but this deal should have been far easier to close
What your pragmatic proposal to deal with the striker situation? Would you rather we signed no one?I’ve never actually seen Hojlund play much. But are we pinning all our hopes on a striker who scored 9 league goals last season?
