Sure, but then you also to have consider that we have only one other actual striker (who's a 20 year old with barely any experience). Until we're in a position to recruit there, martial will have to do.
Don’t agree. We should have prioritised an experienced striker in the summer but instead bought a goalkeeper and a midfielder. We can play Rashford, McTominay etc as a 9, we can play Bruno or Mount as a false 9. We have options, we need to let him go.

I wouldn’t let us spend another penny until we have a new football structure in place and a clear idea of what the fecking plan is.

I would not give Ten hag another dime till he proves he can get the best out of what he has. If he doesn't like it, he can walk.

Players come here to die (career wise). Yes, our fans would claim we are a big name but that appeal only works for average players who would ordinarily not have had an opportunity to play for a club this well known.

Buying star players is over. That's not how you become a force again. We could have gotten Bellingham, Haaland, De Jong, Rodri, long before they were stars if our board had half a clue. Instead of paying Sancho £350k a week and a £90m fee. Forget them, even players like Ollie Watkins, James Madison, Mitoma, these are players who we could have easily gotten. We have never been about buying the worlds biggest stars. Fergie didnt get Batistuta. He didnt get Shearer. Or Baggio. Or Del Pierro. All who he wanted. There's no reason why the correct structure wouldnt find the next superstars and have us back to where we belong. But the last 10 years of shown, there is no hope with this current board.

In fairness the club rolled out the red carpet for Bellingham when he was 16. They knew he was a huge talent. He just picked Dortmund as a better place to continue his development which was fair enough.

Not saying our squad planning hasn´t been poor, it really has. Like really really poor.

Tier 2:

Key points:

More info:
  • FFP is playing a part in the decision to make these players available in the market.
  • Varane prefers to stay at United.

“Resale value”

AWB is hardly a Phil Jones/Bailly situation. He’s not a crock and has more than enough to be a decent PL full back. He’s just not good enough for a team with higher aspirations. We shouldn’t be letting him walk for nothing.

In many ways I would retain AWB over Dalot. AWB seems to have at least a particular skill set that can be useful against talented wingers. Dalot seems largely average a lot of things which doesn’t make him much use.

If we went out and got an attacking full back like Frimpong then AWB is a nice alternative when you want a different kind of player in that position.

Is that normal? I've never heard of it before.
This is the sort of stuff that would typically happen between Italian and Portuguese clubs. This rarely happens in Spain, and this is definitely a first for an English club let alone United.

I would imagine it was inserted because of Greenwood's situation to encourage a team to take on the difficulties of the situation.

But still... New one on me.

Wonder what kind of season Chelsea are having after spending 1bn.

'An incredibly bad season', what a load of absolute shite. We are 6th with an utterly ridiculous injury crisis for the whole season.
6 points from 4th place. Could be easily 9 after this GW.
Out of CL, dead last in group with Kopenhagen and Galata.
Out of LC.
More defeats than wins.
It is bad season for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

You talk as if Manchester United are the only team with injuries. That pathetic excuse is simply not flying with anyone.
