There will be quite a few out the door this summer, with some juicy salaries off the books and upwards of 100m in cash we should be looking at a strong transfer window.

You've seen the way this club operates right?

What gives you any hope at all that we'll actually get a few to leave?

What's his price? He looks class in the compilations I've seen. Good passer, good long shot, can take free kicks and by his captain status I assume he's got leadership skills as well.

Thought it was around the £25m mark

Doubt it with all the money we owe. Plus we won't get much for outgoing players let's be honest as we never do.

Really? Wow. So he really has no loyalty!
Maybe Liverpool want him and he can complete his collection of ‘clubs no Utd youth player should ever sign for’!!
You can bet Chelsea will be linked too!:lol:
Already achieved that. He was a Liverpool youth player too before United:lol:

We would get buyers for Maguire, McTominay, Telles, Dalot no problem. We can take a hit on Martial, Van de Beek, Williams, Henderson to get them off the books. Maybe some of them might pull a Jack Rodwell but there are ways of dealing with those gobshites.

We haven't had buyers for them before. We're also not likely at all to take the hit on those players just to 'get them off the books'. United have never done that, case in point - Phil Jones.

We'll see. We haven't had a strong manager with a concerted plan in a while. ETH doesn't seem prepared to carry passengers, you saw that with Ronaldo.

Tier 1:

Newcastle are joining the race for Declan Rice. They like him a lot and there have already been contacts between the parties.

Obviously, the competition is high: Manchester United and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the West Ham midfielder.

Desperate for their first big name signing to help draw other players to the club. Definitely would be willing to spend the extortionate money that other big clubs surely won't be willing to plump up for him.

Perhaps but Rice and Guimares is a solid midfield. Genuine sporting reasons to want Rice.

Mac Allister's more than decent, but is he significantly better than Kokcu ( the armband controversy notwithstanding) or even than a motivated Rabiot as a number 8? Brighton will probably set floor price at 75m and then there's Chelsea's recent propensity to inflate the market (for any single player and across the board) by offering absurd amounts...

Yeah will say it again he's not enough on his own
