It's my expert Ninja skills... I'm like a bloody ghostSomehow, I was completely blind to this post and only saw Zoo's post instead. I was surprised when you replied to Zoo's post with your message!

Matheus Cunha's an incredibly fun player to watch, but I'd be surprised if we actually do go after him. He can play out wide but prefers to play through the middle, and he isn't necessarily a proper striker though can be adequate there.
No, I think those deals will be separate. I feel like Ronaldo's transfer will require lots more work than Matheus Cunha's based on the various terms and conditions that need to be worked on given his massive profile.Do you think we can engineer a Ronaldo for Cunha swap?
Manchester United want Matheus Cunha, but Atletico ask for more than 50 million. In addition, the Brazilian is very comfortable in Madrid. Nothing advanced.
United want Matheus Cunha for the striker.
The Brazilian is one of the options most liked by the English, as ESPN has advanced.
Los rojiblancos ask for MORE than 50 million, the striker is at ease in Madrid, but could think about it.

Some of those players wanting new signings who would no doubt replace them.
Yeah that seems to be exactly what’s happened here. It isn’t United briefing we want him. All agent stuff. As someone said, lots of agents are calling United up, putting their clients up for a possible transfer. We might be monitoring a few of them but the names still get leaked.
Thanks to @TMDaines in the Frenkie de Jong thread:
This doesn't mean that the deal's off, merely that the clubs will need to formally agree on the deal again.
EDIT: Tier 1
This is regarding our offer to the club. We never submitted a formal offer to Barcelona, but we did come to a broad agreement with them on a package. Part of that agreement involved a deadline for a formal offer, and since de Jong hasn't shown any particular signs of joining us, the broad agreement basically expired. What does that even mean? Our offer to the player? To the club? And why would it expire on their end?

Soccer News relayed the same info from the ED article in the 2nd Tweet that's behind a paywall.
Nice try. Straight swap with Joao Felix and you've got a deal.
Even so, Atletico is definitely not the place for him (Joao Felix) to thrive if he really is the next big thing (and neither are we). They won't offer him up in a million years
Can we take him on subloan?Just an FYI, Griezmann is not under contract with Atletico. They loan him till 2023
Also Atletico is obligated to buy him after 2023
Sub-prime transfers, what could go wrong. Can we take him on subloan?
Griezman would be a horrible idea.
