Thanks to @TMDaines in the Frenkie de Jong thread:
This doesn't mean that the deal's off, merely that the clubs will need to formally agree on the deal again.
EDIT: Tier 1
I don't expect them to. They were asking Chelsea for a price that's €5m less than what we initially agreed on. The deferred wages are Barcelona's problem only, and as of now, they haven't been pushing that out to either United or Chelsea. So Barcelona will ask for new fee which will be the extra 17 million(deferred wages owed) to the original fee they accepted. What a waste of time waiting last couple months then could if we do end up paying extra.

They were always asking for €80m, even from us. We offered a little bit more than that to make it easier for Barcelona to deal with Frenkie's wage situationSorry if I missed it, but why where they asking for less from Chelsea?
It's been a train wreck of a saga, like our entire transfer window.
Should move on to Savic and be done with it
People are so inconsiderate.

Soccer News relayed the same info from the ED article in the 2nd Tweet that's behind a paywall.
And you believe this crap? our fans will believe anything negative about the club. So the players including Rashford, Maguire, Bruno who are all on shaky legs they could be replaced this season are mad and want new players who will potentially take their place in the team. It don't even make sense. So many leaks out this squad.
S'all good. I wasn't trying to be a dick...came across a little like that.My bad.

Strange thinking. If you have collaegues that are incompetent at their job and makes your life harder you want new, better collaegues right? Or you Will find new job. It’s the same here. They’re tired of shit players. And you believe this crap? our fans will believe anything negative about the club. But the ones demanding better players are guilty of being shit themselvesStrange thinking. If you have collagues that are incompetent at their job and makes your life harder you want new, better collagues right? Or you Will find new job. It’s the same here. They’re tired of shit players.
Maybe it`s their way of saying they want out? Those that 'told the board' are the ones needing to be replaced
Haha was just about to say that. Proper pot, kettle scenario. But the ones demanding better players are guilty of being shit themselves
they are all the players who need replacing.
Or is it their collaegues that makes them shit? But the ones demanding better players are guilty of being shit themselves
Just thinking about the same. Some of those players wanting new signings who would no doubt replace them.
If they lack accountability for their own performances they may very well believe that is the caseOr is it their collaegues that makes them shit?
