We’re looking to build a geriatric team under the bandwagon of inclusivity. Blame the United PR department for that one

hardly geriatric

It depends on the situation.
If for example, Nottingham offered 25M pounds for Garner, I think the club should accept it, maybe put a buyback clause of 35M, and use the money from Garner's transfer to get a forward/striker.
Not with our lack of midfield for me I would suggest he stays he might even break in sooner rather than later. It’s not a wild suggestion tbh, it’s what City, Liverpool and Chelsea have done in the past that’s how they get good fees for their players.
Is that What ten Hag?It's an obvious BS, in no world we are in for such an average player like Dybala who is very far from what WTH likes to use his striker..
Why ? Would his value drop a lot in 6 months even if he doesn't get to play a lot. We could just as well keep him here so ETH could evaluate him, and then possibly sell him 6 or 12 months.
Well it would take a lot for Malacia not to be good value at low wages and for a £13 million transfer fee. .
Didn’t Telles cost something similar. Also signed as a replacement to cover Shaws injury issues. Which Shaw then miraculously recovered from for long enough to consign Telles to the bench for long enough for him to turn to shit. I expect a similar trajectory for Malacia.

The suggestion maybe not the but the 50 million was crazy I've never see any team pay that for a former player via a buyback clause. It’s not a wild suggestion tbh, it’s what City, Liverpool and Chelsea have done in the past that’s how they get good fees for their players.
Name checks out. Our online fan base pains me.
The players aren't in training today.Suck it up ya pissy bitch. You're getting paid enough. You're gonna lift that EL trophy whether you like it or not. Siiuuuuuu
How did that end?FFS This de Jong transfer saga is turning out like my attempts to get Margot Robbie to sleep with me.

I picked the name in opposition to my actual outlook. I’m usually fairly positive, and despite my misgivings on our direction of travel I’ve kept it to myself. Check my post history if you can be bothered, I’m not a whinger.
De Jong doesn’t actually really want to come, simply put if a Barca stay was an option he would be staying there. I’m sure he’ll come and make the right noises and whilst it goes well he’ll be fine. If it doesn’t, that’s when it actually matters whether the player really has the club at heart or not. Plus, he’s not actually all that, he’s a decent midfielder. Worth £70m? Maybe, maybe not, I don’t think we’ll look back on him as a steal. He’ll fall into that Fred category of being plausibly priced for what we actually get.
Martinez? The isssue is his height. And not necessarily his alone, but our teams in general. You could probably carry a small centre half if you’ve got height throughout the rest of the side. We won’t have much next season when you think about our possible line ups if we’re going to use the new players. Most of ours has either left, is currently in the process of trying to leave or will be replaced in the side by the new guys. We’re already a liability at set pieces, replacing one of our centre halves with another who is weak at aerial duels, whilst having a keeper who is terrified of coming of his line doesn’t seem like a great combo to me.
Malacia won’t get much game time if shaws fit. Because Shaw is simply the better player. You may be a Shaw hater, if so we’ll have to agree to disagree and see who’s right next season. However, Telles has turned to shite, and we do need a backup, but it wasn’t a priority for me. We needed a starting RB before we addressed left back.
Eriksen will be our best player next season. Getting him on a free will be the best bit of business we’ve done in years.
Dybala will be a disaster. He’s scorned us in the past and is not the player he was a couple of years ago. I genuinely hope he goes to arsenal.
That's absolutely fine it it reduced the fee by the same amount, no? Apparently Barca has a wage problem, not a cash problem, so win winBarca are going to end up asking us to cover the wages hes been due since Covid…something that would probably have happened under EW, hopefully not now under this new team.
A few hiccups but completed with ease...right?
How did that end?

This is already a huge fee for Antony. If Ajax turn it down, I hope we don't pursue this any further. ETH evidently wants him a lot this season. I still have some reservations for this sort of money. Pressure on him will be huge in the media.
Is this reliable?
