I wouldn’t mind Dybala on a free. We’re up the creek without Ronaldo and we need forwards. Say what ya like, he’s got quality in his boots and may just need a fresh challenge. Went stale at Juve.

No dybala plz, stop making the same mistakes…. When will we learn?

We will get FDJ, Eriksen, Tyrell and potential Martinez for around 110m.

We will sell Perrira for around 10m, plus we should Atleast get another 40 mil from AWB, Telles, Williams, Baily, Jones, Garner, Tuanzebe etc!! That’s 50 bloody million from players who hardly play any part and also in line with ETH preference to play with leaner squad!!

If we sell them on top of players who already left, we will be saving close to 50m on wages excluding 25% reduction….

On top, if Ronaldo leaves, we will save another 25m on wages….which can fund most Of the bloody 4 incomings wages …. That is FDJ, Eriksen, Tyrell and Martinez!!!

We can easily still spend 70m-80m pounds for a world class striker assuming there is one and still manage to not break the bank!!

Dybala's camp has approached United here instead of the other way around. I'm sure that United are listening, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're looking to bring Dybala in. This is similar to how we handled the Sergio Reguilon situation when he eventually left Real Madrid for Tottenham.

Why are you selling Garner?

I don’t Overhype players!! Sell him, add a buy back at 50m if he is that great!!

Well do you really think it's smart to sell a young talent before he has been given any chance to prove himself in the P.L ?

Malacia, Martinez, FDJ, Eriksen & Dybala - Wouldn't be a bad summer, to be fair.

We'll see - Ronaldo, Varane and Sancho looked like a decent summer last year and we all know how that turned out. That said, if we could bring them in (I'm not fussed about Dybala - don't think he wants to play for Utd and his injury record worries me, think he peaked a few years ago) AND move out Ronaldo, Pereira, Jones, Telles, Bailly/Tuanzebe, and Jones in addition to the players we've already released... That'd be decent - failing to move players on has been one of our biggest problems for years. Ideally we'd get rid of Martial too, but if Ronaldo is leaving I doubt that'll happen now - besides, who'd want him on form?

Hardly exciting, only FDJ would be a guaranteed starter and improvement on what we already have. Others are either fantastic prospects (Martinez, Malacia,) or luxury players like Eriksen (in sense that we already have his preferred role occupied by Bruno).
I don't rate Dybala at all, and there is no way he can cope with PL tempo, he will be a huge fail if he comes here imo.
Our priorities are CDM, CM, RW, RB and ST we are only sorting CM with this list.

I've seen bits and bobs of Dybala and obviously he's a talented bloke but will he press and stick to the tactics or is he gonna be the liability we think Ronaldo would've been?

We sounded him out a few seasons ago and he wanted nothing to do with us so as everyone is suggesting he'd be the panic buy type where we don't get someone who actually gives a shit about the place which is worrying.

100%. Pereira going for a very decent fee gives me hope that these new transfer folks can make it happen. Getting spare parts and bad apples out the door now, so ETH can build from as fresh a slate as is possible would be great.

I'd agree on those priority positions, with my order of importance being: DM, CM, ST, RB, RW. It seems the club has other ideas though, with basically zero links to either DMs or RBs.

I wouldn't call that list mind blowing, but a sensible roll of the dice on a budget of say, £125m odd (which I think is roughly whats rumoured?).

It lacks a proper ST and a DM for my liking, but no DM appears to be being targeted and the market for strikers is very slim at the moment. Better to run with what we have there for a season and go in big for the right man next year, I'd say.

Dybala I also have reservations, but on a free, who knows? Could be a great bit of business if he recaptures his form.

Yeah it's hard not to have concern about our lack of desire to address any of these priorities

Eriksen isn't a luxury player he fits ETH a lot more than Bruno, Eriksen played deep at Brentford and is more technically gifted we all know Brunos erratic nature on the ball. If anything he may even struggle to fit Bruno in if FDJ comes given ETH more often than not played a 4-3-3.

Eriksen’s the only one out of the 5 on that original list that I think we’ll look back on in a couple of years as good value or a worthwhile signing.

I don’t believe the Dybala rumours at all
Nor me. Significant the rumours are from the Italian side. I'm sure his agents have offered him to United of course, but there's no indication he'd suit Erik's vision of a young hardworking humble team.

Well it would take a lot for Malacia not to be good value at low wages and for a £13 million transfer fee. .

It depends on the situation.

If for example, Nottingham offered 25M pounds for Garner, I think the club should accept it, maybe put a buyback clause of 35M, and use the money from Garner's transfer to get a forward/striker.

I doubt we are in for Dybala, or it could be true but he'll be a last resort kind of transfer. Juve u-turned on their contract agreement apparently because they felt he is on a decline physically and that his injuries are catching up with him. It's rather odd though, because I think Pogba's on a similar trajectory and they signed him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, it seems like he doesn't do too well with competition either so he's not someone good to have around the team. We already have Martial for that role.

I actually think people would really enjoy Dybala. He’s not had the same output as 3-4 years ago but Juventus have fallen away themselves. The transfers and squad building plus the failed Pirlo experiment has really set Juve back.

I watched a couple of Serie A games last season with Dybala and he still looks class and very different to our other options.

Why? Youtube analysis shows he great in 2022.
YouTube analysis

He's another Woodward-era mercenary who doesn't actually want to come here, but now he's past his prime we'll throw loads of money at him because he's a big name to the FIFA fanboys, regardless of how well he fits into the team. He'll think he's too big to work hard, disrupt the squad harmony, and down tools as soon as the chips are down.

We need to move away from being the last resort of overhyped mercenaries looking for one last big payday off the back of previous acheivements. Focus on the next big thing, not an ex-big thing.

We’re looking to build a geriatric team under the bandwagon of inclusivity. Blame the United PR department for that one

I was well up for Dybala but Juve fans say he's finished. Given he's free and no club seems to be intrested I reckon they might be right

Bruno is our second best player, if not best player. He will be in the team.
