Shame, I was hoping that they'd get more for him as Chelsea got the same for Gallagher with just a year left on his contract.
wtf is going on here? We can't get tuppence for our players because they're paid too much, yet City, who are supposed to pay half the salary under the table, are getting huge money for their back up striker.
Maybe just maybe, city stopped doing that after they started winning things and became an attractive proposition for players to join? Or maybe they've built up an image of being hard nosed in the transfer market and have put the right negotiators in the right positions? Or maybe it's aliens.
