Hopefully it’s true and IF he really is interested in Chelsea, let’s see how quickly something materialises. At least then we’ll know if it’s more than just the money that has him apparently wanting to stay put at Barcelona. Will also test the faith he has in EtH and see if these apparent telephone calls between the two are legit. Can’t see him screwing him over, so he’d surely tell him immediately if wants to go elsewhere if he does leave.

I would personally prefer a resolution sooner than later, whatever happens. At least we can get back to our transfer business.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with that. I haven’t watched Hoffenheim play and he never really had games for Bayern‘s first team. It seems he was good enough to start for Hoffenheim so he should be fine as a squad option in the Premier League.

I don’t put too much emphasis on the „market values“ on Transfermarkt.de but they have him at €7.5m which sounds about right. He brings some marketing appeal due to being from the US so that might come into play as well.

Anyways, he has no shot at starting for Bayern (de Light, Hernandez, Upamecano, Pavard, Nianzou) so it makes sense for him to look for a change. If he is really being sold for €15m it‘d be a great deal for Bayern. That money buys you half a Mané over here! ;)
 
So the stuff about Chelsea and de Jong is nothing in the last few days or hours but a rehashing of the story from a few weeks ago that Spanish outlets started running again yesterday like there was new contact.
